Kingdom Hearts: Precipice

There are countless lost secrets across the universe, hidden or destroyed throughout the limitless amount of worlds and stars. Some are buried beneath the sands of shifting deserts, in cracked tombs where only the dead dwell. Others can be found sunken deep beneath the roaring waves of the oceans, in cities submerged for eons, their mysteries frozen in time by the liquid world around them, with only the unknowing denizens of the deep that blindly swim past to take in what was lost. From the misty mountain caves and temples, where secrets sit enshrined and forgotten in their frigid world above the clouds, to deep within the depths of the rainforest, where hidden temples and lost cities are overgrown and retaken by nature, secrets lay in wait. What these Secrets actually are can come in many forms, be it ancient writings, knowledge, art, artifacts, objects of power. Even nature can have its secrets, with animals whispered about over hunting fires, deep sea monstrosities or wonders thought to be impossible, and the hidden wonders of the natural world, caves, crystals and jewels.

The interesting thing about lost secrets is that, like many conventional "secrets", is that they lose their power and meaning with distance, the most earth shattering secret on one planet can mean little to nothing to its neighbor. In all things however, there is always something that happened first, something that started a revolution, or began a thought process, or awakened a sleeping beast; a catalyst. There is a secret that pre-dates all secrets, one that began every process in the universe, a secret that affects every planet, every being, and every atom of existence.

When people say that the origins of the Keyblades are a mystery, they are correct. But it was not always a mystery, because before the Great Keyblade War, before the Keyblade Masters claimed their titles, there existed three Keys of Ultimate Power, three keys whose actions would shape the very essence of the universe, their choices would rend the fabric of reality...
