So I've only written 24 stuff before, so I'm in this whole new world of House fanfic, but here is a little bit of HouseCam future fluff, probably a one-shot, but I'm not sure. Let me know what you think.

"Greg," she said in that annoyed voice that he secretly found adorable.

"Allison," he replied in that attempt at annoyance that she could see right through.

She had walked out of the bathroom- their bathroom- to find him sitting in bed holding a fully open newspaper, hiding all but his hands from view. "Why," she asked calmly, "are you reading the newspaper in bed?"

He lowered the newspaper a tad and peered over the top of it. She was standing at the foot of the bed directly in front of him, arms folded and glaring. "I find it important to keep up and current events, dear."

She rolled her eyes. He had known she would.

"Of course. I should've known," she said.

Without setting down his paper, he pulled the covers down a little on her side of the bed and tugged her pillow a few inches closer to his, then patted the spot on the mattress. She laughed, took the hint, and crawled into bed next to him.

"You know," she began, "most people read their newspapers over coffee, in their armchairs, on their morning commute…"

"Hey," he cut her off, "I'm not most people. And do you really want me to try and drive you to work and read my paper at the same time? You complain about my driving enough as it is."

She laughed for a moment, then sat in silence, and then started laughing hysterically. Slowly, he set his paper down and turned to her. "Honey?" he asked, taking her hand in his. "There are people that can help you."

This just made her laugh harder. She brought her hand to her mouth, trying to stop. "It's just," she struggled to say between laughs, "I mean, everyone talks about these secrets that don't come out until after marriage…"

This made him smile a bit. "So," he said breathily, pulling her towards him, "We've been married for two weeks. You think that my newspaper-reading in bed is my dirty little secret?"

She gasped slightly, short of breath. "Something like that."

He pulled her into his lap and began kissing her neck.

"Greg," she said in that voice that turned him on.

"Allison," he said in that attempt at having control that she saw right through.
