Chapter 1: The Beginning.

20 years earlier

Ulfric Stormcloak held his baby girl. Her name was Artemis. Galmar Stone-Fist coughed, He turned and nodded.

Ulfric got on his horse, he had the baby straddled in a cloth along his shoulder, he rode to High Hrothgar. They walked in, Galmar stood outside with their horse. Arngeir nodded at his fellow grey-beards.

"You sick, Imperial Bastards!" Ralof screamed, one of the Stormcloak soldiers tried to head butt one of the soldiers but failed. Artemis was weaponless and didn't fight. She was walking back from Themyscira when she saw the fight, the imperials saw her. One tackled her, she was knocked out.

"Ralof...!" Artemis yelled into the cave, worried her new friend was hurt by imperials, spiders, or another bear. "Hello, Friend." She turned and saw him. Sighing in relief, "My sister owns a mill in the near-by town, Riverwood. She can help us." They heard Alduin fly over them. They bent down behind the rock. "It's gone..." Ralof said as he got up.

"Remember my sister, I'll be in Riverwood soon enough." Artemis nodded and equipped her bow and arrows. She moved her way down the path and came to three rocks. They had symbols on them, she had read about these, but barely knew anything about them.

She do believe they were called Sheer Stones... She didn't know, she would have to talk to the townsfolk about them. She looked at the symbols and remembered the constellations. Hippolyta had told her about, The middle one was clearly the Mage. The left one was a thief, and the right... was the warrior. She rubbed her fingers across the stone. It started to glow and a beam of light shot from the top into the clouds. The constellation started to show, she felt her blood heat. It stopped for a while then it settled with her. She continued walking, she had to shoot a couple wolves with arrows.

She walked to the gates and approached a guard. "Stormcloak or Imperial?" Artemis shrugged, "... I don't know, but I do remember Stormcloak... or something." The guard sighed, "You're not from here... I'll give you that." He gave a sign and the others opened the gates. When she saw the town... She automatically thought of Bana-Mighdall. Her home town. Ralof patted her shoulder, she turned hard.

"Sorry... Didn't mean to scare you, this is Riverwood. "Born and raised, where are you from?" He said as they started to walk past the blacksmith. "Ban- Themyscira..." Ralof smiled, "Sounds like a dream." Artemis nodded, slightly.

Ralof walked to the mill with her, Gerdur was with her husband, Hod. "Sister!" Ralof said as he embraced her. "This is my friend, Artemis. She helped me escape from the Imperials. Well... and the Dragon." Gerdur gasped, "DRAGON?! We have to the Jarl...!" Rolaf calmed her down, "Artemis, will you please travel to Whiterun and tell the Jarl? I have to settle her down." Artemis nodded, "Alright." Rolaf gave her a key, and a couple of essential items. Artemis started to walk down the path, clearly used before. She saw a couple salmon tied to a couple stick rods. She walked across the bridge, she shot a arrow at a fish. It missed and she decided to stop. She continued walking for a while she heard a wolf. She readied her bow and arrow. It came from behind her so she jumped and turned. She shot it in the head, it flopped over and she smiled, after skinning it she came to the Battle-Born farm. She was greeted and was given a apple or two. She smiled and sat off, She came to the stables and then to the Whiterun Wall. She opened the door and saw her destiny begin.
