Daniel was woken by a large crash and a series of honks coming from outside his house. He sleepily rubbed his eyes and sighed as he hopped out of his bed and went to the front window. Once he peered out the window through his half open eyes, he found Beau Brooks, one of his fellow Janoskians standing in the driveway with a grin on his face even though he had obviously just crashed his car into the fence once again.
"SKIP," Beau screamed enthusiastically, "COME ON LET'S GO!"
Daniel couldn't help but laugh at his ridiculous friend who was as loud and rambunctious as always. It was normal for Beau to carelessly drive over to Daniel's house before a meeting with their manager. He would always arrive safely however and call for "Skip" which was Daniel's nick name ever since he was younger and used to skip over words in his sentences.
Daniel screamed back to Beau, "GIVE ME A MINUTE," as he quickly ran into his room, grabbed a clean tank top, and ran his fingers through his messy hair. It only took two minutes before Daniel was outside, sliding into the smooth leather seat of Beau's car.
The boys weren't off to just any meeting this time. They were headed to their last meeting before they embarked on their first world tour. Daniel was oozing with excitement as they pulled up to their manager's building.
Beau and Daniel walked up to the door labeled "Suite 101" which they knew was Mr. Jackson Parker, their manager's office. Before Beau even had a chance to knock, the door was whipped open by the three other members of the Janoskians. The first, Beau's younger brother Jai launched himself at Daniel and tackled him to the ground. Second, Jai's twin brother, Luke casually went and sat on top of Jai and Daniel who were toppled over on the pavement. Finally, James high fived Beau as they excitedly went to take a seat in the familiar and comfortable chairs in Jackson's office.
The meeting seemed to stretch on forever in Daniel's mind. They were relentlessly reading and rereading the schedule for their upcoming tour, which seemed silly because he and the other boys had been thinking about and planning for the tour non-stop ever since they had found out about it. First they would do a couple shows in their homeland, Australia. Then they would move on to the UK, and finally, Canada and the United States. Daniel just wanted to go on the tour already. He couldn't stop shifting in his seat as he waited for the meeting to finish. Finally, Jackson Parker said just the words he wanted to hear.
"Alright guys, get some sleep tonight! You're going to be up bright and early tomorrow to get ready for your shows here in Australia and then after that you have to leave almost immediately for the UK. See ya tomorrow!"
With that, the five members of the Janoskians shot up out of their chairs and left the office. They were all eager to get home and for the day to be done. They were like little kids on Christmas morning, bouncing off the walls for what was to come. Tomorrow would be the first day of the greatest couple months of their lives.
