If there is a better way to narrate how they get to know each other when their personalities are obviously poles apart, maybe it would start by stating, 'Their story was hard to understand to begin with…'
But then again like any other stories it started with something like this…
Like any other typical rainy days, Kaezumi Kaise materialized by the door of the train very drenched from the tips of her hair to the ends of her socks. She grinned sheepishly at the passengers eyeing her reprovingly.
She leaned back to the automatic door as the train moved again, casually drying her hair and face with a towel. And like a hopeless lyricist that she is, she liked to observe people especially in romantic places like this train. She snapped each one a critical nanosecond look.
Rigid men in mid thirties…
Old bright outmoded women…
Kids with gloomy aura probably because of the heavy rain…
And a guy with an undefinable presence sitting motionless at the farthest part of the train.
She teetered along the aisle towards the vacant seat across the guy.
Why, the guy has red hair, she noted, amused. Just resting on his cheeks are noticeably long and dark lashes, and just below those perfectly shaped and firm nose is a set of delicate rosy lips…
She rarely see a guy so good-looking and at the same time knows how to dress very well. He wore black baggy pants, midnight blue jacket the sleeves rolled just below his elbows, and then a pair of red sneakers.
His sleeping figure is a picture of both innocence and manliness.
His eyelids fluttered open only to reveal crimson colored irises. His forehead creased as he fished his phone from his pant's pocket. Kaezumi surreptitiously watch the guy read whatever he's reading on his phone and moments later he stood up and approach the door connecting the two trains. Then he's gone.
She leaned back realizing that her objective to get rid of that sleeping face off her head will take a lot of willpower.
The ride only took half an hour… and half an hour is all to takes to remember him
