Yuko, the space-time witch: I feel it even now, the over flow power. The balance between worlds is tipping and soon, very soon, someone is going to lose it all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"So, you want the power to travel through worlds eh?" the long lady grinned.

"I would do anything to save her! To save princess Sakura!" Sayoran practically yelled.

"Oh?" Yuko inspected her guest. The power of the moon was hers, it was unlimited and unbeatable, she had always used it to her own advantage but this boy… her eyes shifted to the breathing yet unconscious form lying in his arms… he held power too. Greater than he could ever imagine, if only he could harvest them yet… her mysterious stare deepened as she looked directly at Sakura. Syaoran's grip instinctively tightened as he tensed under Yuko's cold and watchful eyes.

"That girl there, the princess, what ties you so strongly to her that you are willing to risk your life to save her sole?" the question was pointless as she new full well why he was so attatched to her and their past as well yet she asked it anyway. To hear the reason, to hear of his so called loved from the boy's own lips.

There was a pause. "She… I was given to the girl as a play mate in our childhood, now she is in danger. I have no family so I must protect those closest to me, that is why I have studied combat and history, so as not to repeat the mistakes of the past, so as not to lose those people left around me." The had been staring down at the girl directly into the beautiful innocent face of what seemed a fairy. Had he been able to, she was sure he would have been in a staring contest with his toes. Lies did not have an affinity for him, it was his nature. True and pure, she could see him for what he was and see the truth.

"I came because the high priest sent me!... and, How can I return without fulfilling the will of his majesty." And my heart. She could see it written in his face the utter devotion and selflessness so obvious in his character… or was it that she was almost omnipotent and could feel his vibes…?

"He is coming." She was alerted of another's presence, someone traveling through the time stream, someone traveling towards them. She took one last look at the boy while they were alone and contemplated the reasons for this hitsuzen. Those alone who guide his spirit, the masters of time, may be certain… he was so young, so immature. She watched him out of the corner of her eye as he tried to puzzle out who she had been talking about. She stared, meanwhile, at the spot in which her second visitor would appear, she had to keep up her mysterious, all knowing, unphase-able reputation after all… no mater what the circumstance.
