What if that night with Peter and Maggie had been different? What if Peter was straight? What if Peter loved Maggie? We go from here, and discard the rest of the film.

The next evening, everyone apart from Brian and Carol were sitting in the drawing room. Mary curled up in Roger's lap. Andrew with his arm around Sarah, and Maggie entwined in Peter's arms. "I'm so happy for you, dears. Maggie had been going on about it for a couple of weeks." Andrew said into the silence. Maggie kissed Peter's cheek and said "Yes, well, maybe…"

"Don't hide it dear, I could see it in your eyes every time you looked at me. It was rather obvious." Peter added. "Mary, dear, how is Ben?"

"The babysitter said that he no longer has a temperature. She said to stop panicking."

"I said that too, darling." Roger interjected. Suddenly, a loud bang could be heard. "What was that?" Peter questioned. "I'll go." Said Sarah quietly, as she freed herself from Andrew's warm embrace. A muffled conversation could be heard. When Sarah came back in she said "Brian's leaving me, and Andrew, Carol's leaving you. They are going to get Married." Andrew cheered. "God, Finally!" he kissed Sarah, and said "What about us then? Then all the revues would be together. It would be easier to meet up too." Sarah kissed him back, "Alright."

A bell rang, the dinner signal. "Come on then Everyone, Dinner." They all went to the dining room, and cheered when Vera brought the food in. After dinner, back in the drawing room, something very exciting happened. "mmh. Everyone, I have something very important to ask to a very important person. I know that this might be a bbit quick, but honestly. I can't wait any longer." He got Maggie to stand up. Andrew handed him something, and he got down on one knee. "Maggie Chester, Would you do me the honour of becoming Mrs Morton?" Maggie burst into tears, and nodded. Peter stood up and kissed her, he slid the ruby ring onto her finger and whispered "I Love You."
