Dean's hands are strong and calloused, but they've always been gentle when he's touched me. He shares his deepest thoughts and fears with me, and knows that I'll keep those secrets to the edge of forever. We have a bond, he and I, undeniable and pure.

I've held him time and again after another hollow encounter with a nameless woman, whispered comfort to him with reassurances that I'd never betray him.

I've cradled his battered and broken body, willing him whole more times than I can count, offering protection and safety.

And in return, he keeps me whole. He calls me his baby and his eyes fall across my body with pride, and I glow with joy when he says I'm his girl.

Oh, but the other, Sam….him, I tolerate because Dean loves him, too. But Sam whines and complains every time he hears the screech when my front doors open. I know that Sam's heart is empty and full of jealousy. He knows that screech is me saying, "I love you, and only you, Dean!"
