It was a nice day in the land of Hyrule, as Link, Hero of Time, made his
way to the famous Lon-Lon Ranch. He was angry, at what he did not now, but
he was angry none-the-less. There was no one at the ranch, save the
stupefied cows grazing lazily in the summer day. Link could only suspect
the owners of the ranch were at the annual Horse Show. There was a lone
chicken in the middle of the grazing pasture that stared blankly at Link.
"Is that a challenge?" Link yelled, blowing off steam more than anything. Then, it dawned on him. Here, in this chicken, was a perfect channel for his anger. Looking around, Link drew his sword from its scabbard and readied his shield. Link charged the chicken and let down a powerful hit right on the chicken's skull. Link, looking at the chicken now saw it…FLASH? The Master Sword was an age-old sword, crafted by the gods themselves. It was with this very sword the Link slew Ganon, the ultimate evil. See the sword do nothing more than make a farm chicken flash a hue of red angered Link more than he had been before. He cursed the chicken and got up. This time he tensed, charging his sword. He released, and the blade hissed through the air, aided by the glowing red flame around it. To Link, this time the chicken would die. However, as he got up he saw the chicken flash in the all-too familiar hue of red again. Now, Link went psycho. He hacked, swung, slammed, and smashed the chicken with the Master's Sword. During the attack, the chicken just stood there like a child waiting patiently in line for ice cream.
Then, as Link rose, the chicken looked at him as if to say, "Are you done now?" The chicken then reared back its head and crowed three times. Link looked up, and the sky grew black with the coming of dozens, no, hundreds of chickens. They swarmed over the field, and Link fled towards the main entrance. Before he made it however, three chickens, in a V-formation, dive- bombed Link. The lead chicken's force picked Link up in the air, and the following two rammed into Link's chest ripping the muscle tendons apart with their razor sharp beaks. Link flipped in the air, landing on his face, greatly adding to the pain of his chest. He laid there, face down, until there was no noise. Thinking they were gone, Link lifted his now bleeding torso off the ground with his arms. He looked up only to see a circle of chickens surrounding him. Directly in front of him he saw a large, gnarled, burly chicken with a scar across his left eye, obviously the captain of this air force.
He looked at Link as if to say, "Have you learned your lesson?" He squawked and the air was amidst with squawking and flapping. As quickly as they had come, they had gone. Link looked at the lone chicken he had attacked and ran towards it. Grabbing its neck, Link snapped it. The chicken let out a half-squawk, then stopped. He lay lifeless in Link's arms. Then Link turned around and started towards Hyrule Castle. Suddenly he was tripped. He rose himself and was in the circle of chickens again. They were back. Link heard a squawk in the air and looked up. He saw the captain of the chickens, the burly one dive-bombing him at an 180degree angle, a straight line to Link's head. The split second before the beak penetrated Link's skull, Link knew it was the end.
