"Oh come on. I…borrowed… the Xbox and the game. It's just Call of Duty!" Leslie smirked. "Are you scared of me beating you?"
Hunter grabbed the game, grabbing the controllers and putting Call of Duty in. "Let's do this." She grinned, siting next to him, "I'm gonna beat your ass so hard."
"We'll see about that." Hunter bit his lip back. "So… uh how do we play?" Leslie laughed and explained the controls and how to play, the objectives, and so on.
He shook his head. "So you just kill people?"
"No! It requires strategy! You don't just gun it out!"
"Yeah right…"
"Enough chit-chat, Zolomon." She turned the game on. "We're gonna be against each other."
"But-"
"Shut. Up. I'm concentrating."
"Wait it already started?!" Hunter looked down at the controller, "how do I run again?"
"Right joystick. You never listen, do you?"
"Humph. Well I didn't play video games growing up."
She mumbled, fixed on the tv screen, her fingers moving around the controller with expert speed.
"Hell." Hunter tried using his super speed, but he just ended up falling down a huge ditch. Call of Duty Leslie ran over, loading her sniper rifle and pointing it at him. Real Hunter shrieked. "Les I'm 'bout to die."
"That's me, Hunter." Leslie sneered, shooting him in the abdomen. Hunter shrieked again as he screen was covered with red blood, his character falling backwards.
She laughed, continuing playing. Hunter watched her, trying to be helpful and pointing things out to her. Like if there was someone behind her, a quick escape route, etc. Leslie quickly finished up, killing everyone from behind or on rooftops. One fight lasting for an insanely long time to Hunter. They were chasing each other around, shooting like maniacs for like two minutes.
"HAHA! TAKE THAT, SUCKERS!" She dropped the controller, standing up. "Okay. I'm ready for bed now. Night, Hunter."
"Good night?"
"Love you." She went into her bedroom, silently closing the door, and Hunter suddenly wished she was gunning him down again, sitting next to him and enjoying herself.
