His Heritage
Summary; Dishearten learning the truth of his heritage, Moses is at a lost. Thanks to Ramses's rambling about them always be brothers, blood or not it doesn't matter. Its nice to know they will still have that relationship.
Moses remains in a daze leaving the temple trying to take it in. he's not an Egyptian as he always believe he was, but a slave born Hebrew who been save from being killed during the Hebrew massacre all those years ago. Suppressed tears rolls down his cheeks. He's not their son. Does Ramses now? Is there still a right to call him brother?
"Moses," the familiar warmth of Ramses's voice reaches his hears making him choke back a sob and wipe the tears away.
"Ramses," Moses whimpers staring with hurt eyes at the other not sure if he can still be called brother.
"Moses what's ailing you little brother?" Ramses ask pulling the hurt young man in his arms rubbing his back soothingly.
"Don't you know?" Moses sobs, tears running faster.
"What?" Ramses ask confuse.
"Not brothers. Not blood brothers or mother and Father's son!" Moses howls into Ramses's neck.
"I'm nothing more than a pretending Hebrew!"
"You are my brother," Ramses growls pushing Moses away to look at him in his eyes. "Mother is still Mother as I'm your brother. So it doesn't matter. You are still Moses, the Prince of Egypt as I'm Ramses, the Future Pharaoh of Egypt. We'll rule together side by side as we talk about as children! It matters not to me what your heritage is Moses. You shouldn't either."
"Thanks Ramses," Moses whispers closing his eyes feeling the warmth and love envelop around him while resting in his brother's arms.
