This is for the challenge "The Five Things.'
Feeling the weight difference in the bed is what wakes Molly up. She knew immediately it was the twins, they've been having problems sleeping lately. She cuddles the closet twin, George, to her swollen belly and wraps her arm around both of her twin boys, resting her hand on Fred's back. Making sure there was enough room, she moves closer to Arthur knowing that this wouldn't be the last night they would be sleeping with them.
"Mummy, what is that?" Fred asked as he walked up to the hospital bed, noticing a blue bundle in his mum's arms.
"This would be your baby brother, Ronald." Molly replied as she watched Arthur pick up both twins and set them down next to her.
"Were did he come from?" George piped in as he watched Ronald Billius move around under the blankets that were firmly wrapped around him.
"He came from my tummy, sweetie." Molly replied as she pulled George in close to her, doing the same thing to Fred after. She couldn't help but to smile as she watched her twin boy's gap at the sleeping Ron. From that moment on, she knew that they would be the best big brothers to the new arrival.
"Mummy, can I hold Ron?" George asked as he walked up to his mum.
"When I finish feeding him, you can." Molly replied as she looked up from the little life sucking at her breast.
"Ok." George whispered as he pulled himself up onto the settee, taking to her form once he was sitting next to her.
"Where's Fred?"
"He's with Bill and Charlie." George replied as he looked down at Ron and softly rubbed his baldhead. Molly couldn't help but to chuckle when she saw George take a hold of Ron's tiny hand, thinking to herself that he loved being the older brother while he still could enjoy it.
"What's Ron doing?" Fred asked as he walked up to were Molly was sitting with the laughing Ron.
"Ron's laughing, sweetheart." Molly replied as she continued to tickle the bottom of his feet.
"I wanna make him laugh, Mummy." Fred said as he looked longingly at the laughing baby.
"Ok, come here." Molly replied as she pulled Fred onto her lap. Lifting Ron's shirt up, Fred leaned over and blew lightly on his stomach, getting a loud giggle in response.
"I made him laugh, Mummy." Fred said as he leaned back in his mum's lap, relaxing when he felt his body rest against her chest.
"That you did." Molly chuckled as she kissed the crown of his head. Right then and there is when she realized that if she needed help entertaining the littlest Weasley, she could always turn to her prankster twins.
"Go get Mummy, Fred." George whispered late one night as he tried to quite the crying Ron.
"But she's sleeping." Fred replied as he looked out the door of the nursery.
"Ok, fine I'll do it." George stated as he exited the room and walked across the hall into the room of Molly and Arthur. "Mummy, Ron won't stop crying." He added once he was in reaching distance of his mum.
"George?" Molly asked groggily when she woke up from the sound of a voice, "What's wrong?"
"Ron, we can't get him to stop crying." George replied as tears started to well up at the brim of his eyes.
"Why are you crying, love?" Molly asked as she pulled George up onto her lap.
"Aren't you mad?" George replied as he relaxed in his mum's embrace.
"Why would I be mad?"
"Because we couldn't get Ron to stop crying."
"George, sweetheart, that isn't your job. That's what Mummy and Daddies are for." Molly said as she let out a sleepy laugh. "Now get your brother and go to bed." Molly knew that this is one of the last times her twin baby boys would ever help her with their little brother but it doesn't seem to phase her, she knew that no matter how many fights, and only God knows how wretched those were going to be, that they will love each other forever and always.
