I was watching "The Yanks in the UK" and I felt compelled to write this short little oneshot. And it is very short. But I had to get it out of my system. Because I am a huge crybaby when it comes to Bones. So I, of course, was like crying my eyes out when Angela left. Even though I know they're together NOW. It just gets to me. ;) Anyways...I hope you all enjoy:)

"Hey, you're the one that's leaving." And it broke him that she was. He didn't want her to leave. He knew they could get past this problem. This gigantic, handsome, intruding problem. He knew it.

She shook her head. "You're the one that isn't stopping me." Oh, but he wanted to. With every fiber of his being he wanted to. He wanted to pull her by the arms, sit her down in his lap, and simply kiss her senseless. He didn't care if they were in the middle of the diner. He wanted to. But, the real question was: would she let him? No. Of course not. This was Angela Montenegro he was talking about. The most beautiful, open-hearted, understanding-the list could go on for miles- woman he had ever met. Would ever meet. But she was also one of the most stubborn. She wouldn't tolerate him stopping her. Would she?
By the time Hodgins was done thinking, Angela had already left and he was sitting at the table in the diner, alone. He turned his head to see her walking towards her car.

She was leaving.

He wasn't stopping her.

Why was that? He couldn't remember his reason anymore.

He jumped from his seat, threw a hundred dollar bill on the table, and ran from the restaurant. "Angela!" He yelled after her.

She was unlocking her car; her hand on the handle, about to open the car. He came from behind and spun her around, careful to not let her head hit the car too hard. He immediately kissed her and he could feel her resistance.

It wasn't that Angela didn't want to be with Hodgins. Of course she wanted to! But they didn't trust each other. And without trust, where did that leave their relationship? She pushed him away, and she knew he wouldn't force her. He did, however, lean his forehead against hers. She leaned into him helplessly, wanting so badly to hear his next words leave his lips. "I am stopping you, Ange. You're not going anywhere. Not without me, that is."

Angela shook her head. "Jack…we don't trust each other."

"Yes we do, Angela. I trust you with my life. My heart." And even though he knew that wasn't what she had meant, he also knew she had needed to hear that.

Angela didn't even realize she was smiling. "That's not what I mean!"

"I know, Ange. I know." Hodgins wrapped his arms around her and just held her. She stiffened at first, unprepared for the comfort she knew she would feel in his arms. But then her arms were around him too and she was kissing him. Every inch of him, through his shirt. Anything she could reach in a desperate attempt to regain what she felt had been lost. "But we will make it. Because we love each other too much to do anything but."

And to that Angela had no argument. She knew it was true. So true. Hodgins took her face in his hands and kissed her. Kissed her senseless. Just like he had wanted to.

Sooo. Whatchu think? Hm? Well, you know what I think? I think you should tell me what you think by pressing that beautiful little speech bubble. I'd tell you the color, just in case you get confused, but I can't seem to remember it myself...x_x Love Always, Mirder
