Anise walked into the Albior mumbling under her breath.
"Something the matter, Anise?" Jade asked, looking up from the book he was reading.
"Yes, something isthe matter." She sat down, almost throwing herself onto the seat next to Jade.
"Well, seeing as you're going to be in a mood until you talk about it, and disturb my reading; may I ask what?" He asked, looking at the page number, and putting the book on the table.
"Well, everyone has their 'Special Someone', but me!" Jade looked at her, believing that she was overreacting.
"It's true! Everyone, but you and me, has someone special! Natalia has Asch, Luke and Tear have each other-"
"And Guy?" Anise thought for a moment.
"Guy and Noelle are both fon-tech geeks, they're meant for each other!"
Jade chuckled, "Do you really think that it matters?"
"Yes!" She said, with out any pause for thought.
"Think about it, Natalia is betrothed to Asch. Luke doesn't even know that he has a crush on Tear, and Tear knows that she has a crush on Luke, but she has no idea that he has a crush on her."
"And Guy?"
"Guy only speaks to Noelle when he needs to, because of his gynophobia, so you can rest assured that he and Noelle aren't dating. See? You're not the only one who doesn't have a 'Special Someone', and anyway, we have the most interesting chats, don't you think?" He smiled, and reached for his book. "And, anyway, you're only fourteen, there's no need to rush, you're still barely a teen, you're still a child." He opened the book up to the page that he remembered from when he put down the book.
"You're right, I have all the time in the world! ...Unlike you, white-haired, ancient, oldie!" He shook his head, and continued reading. Anise wasn't sure, but she thought that she could see a slight smile on his face... Of course it might have just been the light, and if she would have asked Jade, he would have denied it.
