Disclaimer: everybody knows they are not mine, 'cause they belong to each other - erm- to J.K. Rowlings.
Warnings: poetry, alternating p.o.v.s, lack of periods if at the end of a verse (it's just my style), some innuendo
Author's note: the longer stanzas alternate between Draco's and Harry's p.o.v. (Draco's ones are in italics), the first and last underlined ones belong to both. As usual, reviews are loved.

Wandlore

The wand chooses the wizard, this is clear

from initial attraction, Lumos at the first sight

till experience and learning seal the bond

...

Holly wood, nice and supple, long and smooth

evergreen like your irises, hard shaped

to bring protection, to repel the darkness

born to shelter from witchcraft, poison, lightning

- it marks your brow without marring the beauty

for the tree wears a crown of thorny leaves

in all resembling your dishevelled hair

and it heralds the courage of a warrior

two kingdoms clashing and a knight victorious

-this is you- and the blood under your skin

is the reddest of berries. In your face

there are life, strength and truth, so very bright

I cannot bear to look, nor to divert my gaze

...

Ten inches, hawthorn wood, so very hard

yet reasonably springy. Thorny branches

will not keep me away. I crave your scent

the softness of your petals. You're the spring

and the may blossom blooms each time you blush

Your smile's a feast of berries, ripe, so sweet

your lips could be the nourishment of saints

Your presence mark the threshold of enchantment

shelters the fairy fields. It is bad luck

for those who try to break you. You'll resist

rot and decay, delicate as you look

you can heal me, restore my leaping heartbeat

for in your face buds hope, the awakening of love

...

A single phoenix's feather at the core

for I may be the dragon, but it's you

the one who can't be tamed, you're the strong-minded

breaking rules, building laws, changing the world

in one flutter of eyelids. You're the healing

both given and received with crystal tears

You stand for life renewed through scorching fire

your eyes green like the flames where copper burns

When I bask in your heat, joyous relief

resounds inside your throat, the purest song

while we raise from the ashes of the past

carried by wings unseen. Your radiance blinds me

and the sparkles can touch my very soul

...

Hair from unicorn's tail, fine, soft and pale

fanned out like spilled silk, gleaming with gold

for you're the whiteness on a moonless night

Your skin's a path of milk, your eyes pure silver

poured as a seal of faithfulness. Your heart

is the true core of innocence. No darkness

will taint you, you're nobody's sacrifice

If melancholy claims you, you won't dwell long

inside its realm: you'll raise with grace and pride

come to my hand, horn lifted to the sky

and you will find me ready to receive you

as naked as an offer. I won't tame you:

won your allegiance, I do love you wild

...

Nevermind who's the wizard, who's the wand

The grip is strong and sure, the choice is made

and magic is created, when we join
