It was past midnight by the time everyone had retired to bed for the night. Everyone except for two young men, sitting on the freshly cut grass in the garden of the burrow.
One man had jet black hair and emerald green eyes covered by round glasses, that reflected the light of the moonlight. The other had shoulder length with black streaks running through it, and he had blue eyes that we...re so dark and intense that some people were intimidated to approach him.

These two men were Harry Potter and Casey Black. Friends, Rivals and Brothers.

They were both lost in thought, each wondering about what the outcome of the upcoming war would be.

'Casey' Harry said quietly

'Yeah?'

'Do you...' Harry hesitated, not wanting to ask the question on his mind

'Do I what?' the other teen asked.

'Do you blame me for Sirius's death?'

'Don't be stupid, of course I don't '

'Did you? '

'No'

'Be honest with me, I wouldn't blame you if you did '

Casey sighed quietly. 'Ok, I did at first. But then the anger I felt towards you began to fade, because I realised that dad wouldn't blame you, he went out the way he would've wanted. And let's face it, if he didn't die then, it was just a matter of time until he did. You know as well as I do how much he loved the rush of facing death in the face '

Harry let out a small laugh. 'Yeah, from all those stories he told us, he was quiet the adreniline junkie'

Casey gave a snort of laughter as he looked up at the dark sky

'Do you think we'll win?' Harry asked

'I don't know, I hope we do. But right now he's got the advantage'

Harry frowned sadly 'Yes, he does'

'Hey, that don't mean we won't go down without a fight'' Casey said smirking

'And take down as many of them as we can ' Harry added.

'Exactly. Now come on, let's go to bed, I don't think Mrs. Weasley would be happy if we slept through the wedding preperations'

'No, she wouldn't,' Harry said thoughtfully 'I'll race you! ' he then took off running towards the house

'That''s cheating!' Casey whined, running after him

And for a moment all thoughts of war escaped the two teenagers minds as they laughed, for what could be the last time for a while.
