Living together, it should have been so easy. After all, they had shared a dormitory for seven years.
Now they were older (maybe a tad wiser) but their personal space had gotten much smaller.
Living in a zone 2 apartment in London gets you that. Their place, a 3-bedroomed apartment with a small kitchen and a tiny one-shower bathroom with only one shaky boiler was their life now...
Katie, Alicia and Angelina. The three Gryffindor chasers now post-Hogwarts trying to chase after their dreams.
Katie Bell was an aspiring layer for the international department of magical cooperations for the ministry for magic.
Alicia was currently handling the business affairs of Fred & George Weasley, while Angelina was the assistant of world renowns sports and celebrity agent Phillipe Towsened, representing sports stars in the Uk such as Bulgarian seeker Vicktor Kruml.
Rumor has it that they are currently recruiting new Quidditch talents, just so you know.
It was however that their best friend Alicia was about to move out so that the other chasers were in the midst of finding a new roommate.
A hellish task that neither Katie, nor Angelina found like doing in their spare time after long days of hard work.
But bills had to be paid, rent had to be transferred.
We catch up with them in the middle of their living room. With a few tweaks and spells that were legal within the wizard limits they had managed to make at least a comfortable home for themselves.
They were sad that Alicia was leaving them to move in with George Weasley, knowing that they would move in into this large love shack they bought themselves in the heart of the Diagon Alley.
The two chasers found themselves sighing at another girl that was just trying too hard to be liked,
to be picked by the girls that she would have the share her life with if she was the chosen one.
To fit in with two girls that had known each other for over eight years. Yeah...always painfully awkward those first meetings.
"So what was it again that you do?"
"I work for a clothing store at the Diagon Alley, that is where I know Alicia from. The Christian Crolla designer store, just across the road from Weasely's wizard wheezes."
"And what are your ambitions?"
"Oh, I don't really have any…should I?" The blonde eyed the girls questingly, whom they believed her name was Ashley.
"You have hobbies then, things you like to do in your spare time?" Asked Katie as an answer.
"Oh yeah, of course definitely. Shopping! Hellooo, 15% off of his collection." She put both hands up into the air, hopping them as if cheering. Ashley or whatever her name was, was smiling at them.
Katie looked with a side glance at Angelina who had a slight frown on her face.
Angelina answered the look of Katie with a pained smile then looked back at Ashley.
"Thank you Ashley-
- "Kaylee" the girl said aprubtly.
Angelina pretended not to have heard her an continued on with the conversation, as if she wasn't interrupted by this girl who now stood there awkwardly waiting for Angelina to acknowledge.
- ''So much for coming,'' she said in a sweet high voice and a fake smile.
'It was so lovely to meet you. We still have some other candidates. So Katie and I will talk about it and we will let you know…
Kaylee smiled and blinked.
''Sounds good girls, looking forward to hearing from you.''
And with those last words they closed the door behind her. Kaylee had barely been through the door when Angelina had shut it closed and leaned heavenly against it. Katie looked over at Angelina.
''We need a drink!'' Katie said.
'I think we might need more than just one...'
