Hi. This story just came to my head. It's one-shots about characters in the Pokemon franchise (games, anime, maybe manga) thinking about what they have done in their lives. If you have a character you want me to do, PM or say in the reviews.
First up is Red. First Part in Gen 1 and Second in Gen 2. Enjoy
Red: Part 1
He was done.
Done with the Pokedex, battles and all the other crap he did. What was the point? He was Champion, he was the first to complete the Pokedex, and he had stopped Team Rocket. Most would be satisfied. Most would be praised and hailed. Most would get the happiest life.
Red wasn't most people.
Everyday he walked around. Did anyone know he had stopped Team Rocket? No. Did anyone know he had completed the Pokedex or even know what the Pokedex was? No. Did anyone, for one moment, just stop and recognize a kid who had become champion? No...
He went home. He slept. Next day, go and destroy the Elite Four, sometimes seeing Blue waiting for him. But that was it. For a year he just did this and maybe some other crap.
He questioned what exactly the point of doing all this. What exactly was...
His purpose?
Then it came to him. News.
A documentary was on about a place called Mt. Silver and it was close to Pallet Town. They said it was an unforgiving mountain. No trainer had come back alive, only their Pokemon coming out, empty hollow eyes pulling their trainer out. The body...
Well, let's just say that there was a reason that it was rated R.
But then all of a sudden just as he was about to turn the TV off, something caught his attention.
"...Blue, grandson of Oak and former Champion, plans to take on the challenge to document what exactly Mt. Silver is and find out what lies in it..."
Red wasn't going to let it happen. He looked at the date this was published...Seriously? 2 days ago? That must have meant...
Red smiled. After all these years, something finally came up that he could do. He knew that he could beat Blue to the top and once again crush his dreams...
He packed his things and left. His mom didn't say a word as her son would rarely answer her.
Red left thinking about Blue. Crushing Blue's dreams... He frowned. Was just being better than Blue his...
Purpose?
Hmm, little short and a little weird but I'll take it. Review if you'd like.
