Mario was sitting on the couch sleeping one day. He had an exhausting day rescuing Princess Peach from Bowser a few days ago. Peach came over to him. She was tired of sitting in that cage on the hard metal floor of it. She sighed. Basically, the entire castle was bored. Luigi, Toad, Toadsworth, everyone. They didn't know what to do.
Finally, Peach spoke, "I'm bored. There hasn't been anything to do since Sunday.", she said.
"Yeah,", Luigi said, "I wanna lollipop, Mario."
"Shut up, Luigi. I'm bored.", replied Mario.
"Well me too without a lollipop!", mumbled Luigi.
Mario sighed, "Fine,", he said. He went to go get the lollipop. He found the jar and got a Watermelon lollipop out of the jar. Watermelon was Luigis favorite, so this was an obvious choice for Mario. Right when he was about to head into the room with the lollipop, he found a letter with a ball with a crocked plus sign on it. Mario did recognize the ball, but he can't recall where.
Maybe if I open the letter and read it, I'll remember, Mario thought. So he opened the letter. Here's what he read.
Dear Mushroom Castle,
Hello. It is Master Hand, founder of Super Smash Bros. Or SSB for short. We are proud to announce that the 15th anniversity is this year for this company. So in celebration, we've started a new tournament called Wii U and 3DS(I know. The name's random.). We've bought back one of Nintendo's greatest icons and some brand new ones to! If you want to know who they are, come on down to the tournament!
Thank you.
Master Hand
After reading that note, Mario immediately remembered what that sign meant. Smash Bros. was returning! He had to go let his friends know.
"Guys!", yelled Mario, "Guys!"
"Why are you yelling so loud?", Peach asked.
"Smash Bros. is back! That fighting thing! I read a note!", explained Mario.
"What are you talking about?", Luigi asked. Mario explained about the note on the counter, the anniversity, and even the newcomers! Exciment built inside Luigi and Peach.
"Well, what are you waiting for?", Peach asked, "Lets get moving!"
"Lets-a-go!", the Mario Bros. said. And with that, they hoped into their cars and drived straight to the Smash Mansion.
