I smirked as my phone dinged, alerting me to the text that I knew was coming.

'Put the laptop down, Ms. Evers.' I could practically hear Sherlock's condescending tone. Despite the fact that he told me to put it down, I continued to snoop through his old case files and some surprising photos. I almost had a heart attack when I heard the front door to the flat slam open. In the time it took Sherlock to reach his room I had put the laptop back in it's original place, picked up a book, and laid down on his bed. I looked up as the door opened.

"Oh! Hello Sherlock. I thought you were out working on a case." I said innocently. He just looked at me and then the laptop. He walked over and examined it, of course he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, I had been doing this for far too long to make an amateur mistake. He gave me one more look and turned towards the door. As he was walking out I inwardly cheered at a victory against the infamous Sherlock, but when he got ready to shut the door he popped his head in and smirked.

" I didn't know you could read upside down." my face instantly fell.
