Kyoko and the Mysterious Flyer!
Starring: Kyoko and a flyer
Enjoy!
*In the Love Me Section Room*
Kyoko sat on the bench in front of a row of lockers. She was busy gazing at her phone with a strained expression on her face. She was scrolling through the messages she received on the new Love Me! Request App.
The app was a rather ingenious and last-minute idea on Lory's part. He reckoned that if anyone can request help any time of day via a convenient app, the Love Me section would garner more business and Kyoko would build up enough points for her debut sooner. All this advance technological stuff sounded a bit iffy to the flame head, but she dared not reason with her eccentric president.
Now let's return to the story. Kyoko found one request that intrigued her. It was a job request to hand out flyers. The message said the following:
"Underdog Anime is looking for some funds to get an incredibly loved shoujo show released on DVD/BD in a foreign country! Said anime is amazing and needs more attention than Yashiro-san does his glasses! The funds that were raised from the public so far are not near enough, and thus we need YOU to spread the word! (And contribute too, if you so pleased)
'Hmmm…' Kyoko wondered what this well-loved show could be, so she read the summary of the show on the uploaded flyer:
'Oven Beat!' is a story about a girl who loves sugar, spice and everything nice. But one day, her Sugar betrays her and everything goes bitter. She swore revenge by salt, and enters a famous bakery to overrule this pretentious Cookie Man! Although, she soon runs into a Cinnamon Roll, who is at first a bit spicy, but soon becomes as sweet as a pickle. Kinoko at first recoils in disgust at pickles, but soon warms up to it. Join this colorful cast as they set out on an adventure of rainbows, unicorns and fairy dust!
Kyoko thought the story sounded strangely familiar in the beginning, but she got lost at bakery. However, the words 'fairy dust' immediately caught her attention. That was when Kyoko decided: She would call Moko-san and beg and plead with her partner to spread the word of this story filled with revenge, senpais and fairies!
Za End.
A/N I decided today to put my logic and sense in a nice little ribbon-tied box, put it aside, and just go at this short with whatever was left. Haha sorry guys, but this truly just a shameless ad for Pied Piper's Skip Beat crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo. The purpose is to raise 210 000$ for a North American DVD/BD release with full dub. Please, if you feel like you can afford to donate even a little bit, help this campaign get off its feet, and show everyone dat Kyoko greatness!
