Kids and Love
It all had started when they were little. Hiro and Kisa always spent time together, until Kisa started getting picked on. That was when they started drifting apart. But that was all over now and the two middle schooler's still had feelings for each other, it was a shame they didn't exactly know what those feelings were.
"You know, you can talk to me." Haru said as he sparred with his ,very distracted, younger cousin.
"How can we talk if there is nothing to talk about, huh?" Hiro asked bitterly.
"Okay, I didn't want to do this but… Kisa!"
Kisa came running out of the main house at the sound of Haru's voice. "Yes?"
"Go put on that pretty dress Kagura got for you, please." Haru said politely. Kisa nodded and started skipping back to the main house with a smile on her face.
'Why does she do everything that stupid cow tells her to? And who does he think he is making her smile like that? She will be mi-' Hiro shook the thought out of his head.
"Problem?" Haru asked with a smirk.
"No." Hiro replied flatly, a blush creeping up on his face.
"This one?" Kisa asked as she ran out of the main house.
"Yep, that's the one. Don't ya like it Hiro?"
Hiro wasn't paying Haru any attention, for his eyes were fixed on Kisa's dress. 'Cute' wasn't a strong enough word to describe it. It was a gold color, and had a blue ribbon around the waist, and the sleeves cut off at the edge of her shoulder. Kisa, noticing Hiro's eyes, started blushing.
"Hn." Was all Hiro said.
"You don't like it Hiro-kun? But Kagura helped me pick it out." Kisa said as disappointment spread across her face.
"N-no i-it's just," Hiro fumbled as he tried to fing the correct words. "I-it's nice on you."
His remark caused Kisa to turn another shade of red.
"Thank you Kisa, I think we both love it. You can go get changed now." Haru instructed.
Kisa ran into the house as Haru continued, "Oh yeah, you so don't have any problems."
"Fine!" Hiro sighed as he surrendered to his older cousin's evil plot.
'What am I going to do?' Hiro questioned himself as he thought back to what Haru said.
(Flashback)
"Oh." Haru said, pretending to be surprised as Hiro explained his crush on Kisa. "I think the word you're looking for is, love."
Hiro blushed, "It's not love, just a simple crush."
"Yeah, okay, but how will you ever know how she feels if you don't show her. Now think of something and goooo." Haru said as he ushered Hiro into the main house.
(End Flashback)
Hiro passed the kitchen as he saw Kisa, holding a bowl of cake mix.
"I'll be right back! Oh, Hiro, Kisa is in there." Kagura said as she left down the hall.
"Yeah, thanks." Hiro mumbled.
"Oh! Hiro, I'm making your favorite!" Kisa exclaimed.
"Thanks, but, Kisa. I-I, um, I-I,"
"Is Hiro-kun okay? Your pink, do you have a fev-" Kisa was cut off as Hiro placed his hands on Kisa's shoulders and kissed her. Kisa was caught so off guard that she dropped her bowl. That brought Hiro back to Earth.
"Sorry." He mumbled as he tried to exit the kitchen, but was stopped as Kisa grabbed his hand.
"W-wait! I-It's just y-you caught me off guard is all. Y-you w-were fine b-before."
'What did she just say?' Hiro though as he turned around as shocked covered his face.
"You c-can k-kiss me again if you want."
Hiro didn't need to be told twice. He cupped Kisa's face and kissed her, as Kisa placed her arms around his neck.
"I'm ba- wha-!" Kagura tried to finish but was dragged back with a hand over her mouth.
"Haru! Don't you know what's going on in there?" Kagura whisper/yelled.
"Yep. I told Hiro to tell Kisa how he felt, but I didn't think he had the nerve to kiss her." Haru said nonchalantly.
"They're just Middle Schooler's! Don't you think that's a little young to be kissing?"
"Nope." Haru said grinning.
