A/N: okay so I'm giving this whole LilyxScorpius thing a try. I hope it's not horrible.

Male code blue

Scorpius Malfoy was seated across from Albus Potter at the Gryffindor table in the Great hall. Albus prattled on about something but the fifth year didn't hear what he said, his eyes had wandered down the table to where she sat. Lily Potter.

Scorpius had loved the girl since the middle of his third year. He loved her willpower her fiery temper, her laughter, her hair. He loved everything about her.

Many times he had thought about confessing to her, to just let it out but every time he tried he got cold feet and ended up not saying anything.

And then there was the fact that she was his best friends sister. That was apparently what Albus talked about. The male code blue. Scorpius doubted that Albus knew about his feelings towards Lily but it was still the topic of todays breakfast.

"You never go out with your best friends ex, cousin or sister. Definitely not your best friends sister! Never! That is the number one rule among bros." Said Albus.

"Yeah." Said Scorpius. "But I don't have a sister so you don't have to worry about that." Hopefully by saying that Albus would leave the issue alone and not purse the fact that he, Albus had a sister because Scorpius did not feel like being reminded right now.

"That's true but I do. I have Lily and she is my sister. You know that right?" Albus said looking at Scorpius.

Maybe Albus did know. If he does then I'm screwed, thought Scorpius.

Scorpius nodded to show that yes, he knew that Lily was his sister, and he knew it was not a wise move to get on the wrong side of an older brotherbecause they tended to be protective of their younger siblings. And to mess with an older brother who was a Potter was even worse. Potter had a temper. To say the least.

But then again, Scorpius had never been very wise and what was life without a little drama?

So when he passed Lily Potter he winked at her, signaling the start of something that could either be beautiful or a beautiful disaster.

But rules were meant to be broken.

A/N: what did you think? Please let me know.
