Tenken no Soujiro
By Raven Graeve
A small boy
A murderous smile
A kindly soul
A tiring cry
A crazy mind
A lying master
A fiery temper
A brave life
All in One
These traits create
A young assassin
Called Tenken no Soujiro.
He kills without mercy
He smiles all the while
He destroys all happiness
Never discriminating
He never worries
He always takes
What is most precious
His master is worse
Never caring,
Even for those who he controls
Makoto Shishio,
The Second Assassin.
Seta Soujiro,
His life is wasted
On lasting ideas
Of strength and of weak
His family did die
By his hand alone
Their heads were cut off
And let lay around
Seta Soujiro,
Ten years gone
Along with Shishio,
His life was long.
His new life began
After a fight
His opponent was stubborn
And would not kill
He's a man among men
Many would say,
Yet his life was spent
Much the same way
Himura Kenshin,
The First Assassin.
Of all assassins,
His reasons are clearest,
But his future unknown
Within all who see.
Soujiro fought Kenshin
And cried out aloud,
"If your way is right
Why didn't
you protect me?"
Soujiro lost sanity,
And sprung forth in attack.
The fight ended in sorrow
As he lay exhausted,
Soujiro thought,
'I'll start anew,'
And so he does.
Now he wanders
Around and about
Nobody knows where
And very few care
He imitates Kenshin,
As much as he dares.
To find his own truth,
He'll risk forever.
