This was Andre's fault.
That was the thought that currently came to Jade West's mind as she sat at the small picnic table in the middle of the park. The rest of the gang were gathered there as well. Everyone was enjoying ice cream cones they bought from an ice cream truck parked near the picnic area of the park. Jade had opted out of having one.
It was Andre's fault for buying Tori that ice cream cone. That was the reason Jade was in her current predicament.
As Jade sat there, Tori was enjoying her ice cream cone. Swirling her tongue around the pink cream that was packed on top of the cone. Jade noticed every single stroke of her tongue as she dragged it up and down each side of the creamy concoction.
No, it wasn't Andre's fault. This was Beck's fault. Stupid Beck and his bright ideas. Maybe if he hadn't suggested that they get some ice cream Jade wouldn't be in this predicament right now.
The sun was beating down on the six teens, causing the ice cream to melt. That meant that they had to consume it as quickly as possible to avoid making a mess. Tori's tongue darted out in quick strokes, lapping up the strawberry flavored drops before they could reach her hands.
Oh man. This was Robbie's fault. Robbie had complained so much about it being so hot today. He acted like such a big whiny baby. If only he had kept his mouth shut. If only he could just take the heat like a man, then Jade would not be in her current predicament.
The ice cream on Tori's cone had turned into a smaller, more manageable pink hill. She let her tongue swipe over the top or the hill in long strokes, dragging it from one end to the other. Robbie had complained about it being hot but Jade felt even hotter at this moment. She could feel every fiber of her being tingle as she watched that tongue work.
Yeah, this was definitely Cat's fault. Why Cat? Why? Why would Cat suggest going to the park today? Maybe if Cat had suggested that they should hang out inside someone's house Jade would not be in this current predicament.
Now the ice cream had receded into the cone and Tori continued to delve deeper. Her tongue scooped into the cone as she pulled the creamy goodness out of it. Why couldn't she just eat the cone? Jade watched Tori's tongue dig deeper into the cone.
This was all the Weatherman's fault. He's the one who predicted that it was going to be hot today! Or maybe it was mother nature's fault for making it so damn hot; maybe then no one would be craving ice cream and Jade wouldn't be in her current predicament.
"Just bite it already!"
Everyone's attention was now on Jade. Her thoughts had gotten the better of her and she let all her frustrations out in that one sentence.
Tori quirked an eyebrow at her, "Excuse me?"
"You have been digging into that cone and it's annoying. Just bite the cone and you'll be closer to your precious ice cream."
"I'm sorry my eating habits annoy you so much," Tori stated in a confused tone.
"Whatever," Jade huffed as she stood from the table and stomped away from the rest of the group.
"What was that all about?" Andre asked.
"I have no idea," Beck answered.
Tori smirked as she watched Jade stomp into a flock of pigeons causing them to scatter and fly away.
A/N: I'm going to keep this note short and sweet because I am writing it on my phone. Actually, I wrote this whole fic on my phone so excuse any errors please. This was just a short Drabble that came to me while I was in bed. Naturally I had to get it down right away and the closest device was my phone...so here it is.
This idea actually came to me first while I was listening to "Kiwi" by Maroon 5. The plot is what came much later. So much for short and sweet ;)
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading this little drabble. Thanks in advance for any follows, alerts, and favorites.
Until next time...
