(Prologue)
[Normal POV]
Standing in front of the kitchen counter, stirring a boiling stew is Ash Ketchum but that was a fact that the world doesn't know. To the world, He was Satoshi, The World champion. But to his current friends, He was also known as the 'betrayed' champion.
After losing to Alain at his first try in Kalos, Ash who was sixteen at that time was 'betrayed' by his friends and by his mother, Not betrayed per se. Abandoned is the best word that described what happened to him at that time, They tried to ask him to abandoned his journey and to settle down. It was just the heat of the moment that twisted the meaning behind the words and make them worst.
Ash, who was hurt, left. To try and prove them wrong, he tried the leagues once more. This time he travelled alone.
He won kanto league at 16, overpowered Jhoto at 17, he tackled Hoenn at 18, overthrown Sinnoh at 19, take Unova by storm at 20 and shrugged Kalos at 20. He was invited to participate a tournament outside the major region and succeeded at the age of 23. He was announced to be the world champion or more known as Pokemon Master by Goodshow himself and more or less regional champions work for him.
Despite his achievements, Ash didn't let it inflate his ego instead it made him more mature. You could say that He was still the same Ash everyone knows but more mature and strong one. He reached his dream but because of the abandonment, he turns a little cold especially in his time out in public and that's how Gary Oak re-enter his current life, to accompany him when needed.
Since he became the champion, he was expecting strong challengers however after sometime he found out that the requirement to challenge him was hard. One must defeat at least one champion. Ash, who was so used on the life on the road, easily got bored living in the Pokemon league HQ doing nothing; he decided to flee to Mt. Silver and was now doing it for 2 years.
The other factor was paper works, the evil things, which were relieved when he fled.
Thinking of paper works, Ash can't help but to winced. He missed a lot of things during his stay in the mountain but Paper works aren't one of them.
'Poor Lance'
Lost in scary thoughts of Towers of Paper works, Ash almost missed the quiet knocks on his cabin door, Lucky, Whoever is outside, knocks again, this time much louder.
*knock**knock*
He turned off his stove and faced the door confused. Over the two years of stay in the mountain, there is only one visitor who have the guts to travel to the top of the coldest mountain in Kanto-Jhoto Region, The only one who that have time to visit him and its Gary and he made sure that Gary have a spare key to used so that the idiot researcher don't freeze outside his door while he was out training his pokemon.
*knock**knock*
"Please...Is some-"
*Crash*
Now that he was sure that he was not imagining things, He rushed to the door and opened it without a second thought about his own safety. He was surprised to see a young man at the age of sixteen bruised and bloodied lying at his doorstep. Not that far away from the young man is a small group of fainted teen both boys and girls at the same state as the first boy. One teen caught his eyes; the boy was a split image of his friend.
Paling he shook his head to get back his thoughts back on tracked, Ash whistled a sharp tune.
Six pokemons: A Garchomp, a Sceptile, a Lucario, a Charizard and an Infernape and a Sylveon answered his call and stop their training. They came and noticed the group, Ash went to pick them up took the first boy and took him to his guestroom, a massive and rarely used one.
His Garchomp and Charizard have a small problem with the door and but with a small takedown... PROBLEM SOLVED!
Once the group's bruises was dressed and laid at the bed. Ash left his Gardevior to watch over the kids and went out of the room to make some calls. He sweat dropped at the damage his pokemon caused to his door and he sighed before taking out his X-transiver and made the first and most important call.
"Hello Gary...No...First of all, why would I call you if there's a good challenger? … Oh please, I'm not that Immature Gary… Okay, that's only one time Gary and I thought we won't speak about it again… Gary! Don't start… Oh yeah. *Clears throat* Gary, I need your assistance and I need it quick… A small group of kids appear outside my door and Green is one of them…"
To be continued.
