"Luigi, check the map again would ya?" Mario asked his brother, getting a bit sick of this walk already. He glanced at Luigi, seeing a frustrated look on his face as he attempted to figure out which way was north. Luigi was a skilled map reader, but this was just plain stupid. The map had all sorts of arrows leading to dead ends and scribbly writing that told the crew absoloutly nothing because it was worn away with all the coffe stains it has had to endure over its extremely long life. Almost too long a life at this point.

Peach let out a sigh. Her pink sturdy walking boots were rubbing and unfortunatly Daisy had forgot the plasters.

The princess had thought at the time, that it would be wonderful to hike in the Mushroom woods. She had decided to borrow one of the castles old maps from the Mushroom kingdom archive. Poor Luigi, she thought as she glanced once again at the treacherous map. At this point she wondered if the map was so old, the landscape had completely changed, the paths and roads.

"HALT!" Shouted Daisy. A big murmur of relief emmited from the campers. Daisy had a massive rucksack filled with many, many equipment and nick knacks that towered above all the rest. These included, a massive teddy bear, flip flops, guitar, basically a whole yellow wardrobe, and strangely enough a book of poems. Whenever somone asked her what they were for, she would reply that it was 'TOP SECRET.' Peach was curious but soon gave up, with her strong-willed brunette friend.

"Who else thinks we should just stop here for the night? I mean we are all tired, and the real camp is no where to be seen!" Walugi explained, letting out a sigh as he sat down in the dirt.

The group nodded their heads. Wario patted his brother on the back out of pity.

The Campers started grabbing broken branches, leaves and flint from a nearby rocky hill. Mario seemed to be the one with the natural leadership skills so the group did not mind him bossing them about a bit. Soon they had 4 little tents up...most carried by Daisy. Then Toadatheen and Toadby made the fire, Mario lighting it. Everything was perfect, as the full moon shone through the canopies above the campsite.

Daisy got out her yellow guitar.

"Who is up for a song?!" She asked them. Luigi glanced at the hyper princess who had, had a bit to many Haribos.

"Daisy, do you sing?" He asked her with a surprised look. "Well of course!" She replied giving him a wink, ruffling his hair backwards playfully. He gave a mock sigh, she held back a snicker. Her face went suddenly a bit crumpled. "To be honest about it, I dont think I am as good as Peach...but I hope you like it Weeg." She said with a anxious tone. "Dont worry about it Dais, I am sure you are great!" He gave the princess a warm smile, scraping back her bangs from her eyes. "Hey stop that!" She asked. The princess blushed, she was not really a girly girl, but with Luigi she did not mind as much.

The group took it in turns to sing.

The Wario bros did a duet of 'We Are Number One' from lazy town, getting into the comedic spirit. Daisy could not stop laughing.

After that with much embarrasment, Mario had the guts to get Peach up onto the makeshift stage they had built, with much blushing from Peach. He sung to her the song 'Uptown girl.' With background singers being all the boys in the group. He got a hug from Peach at the end. This made the whole audiance go 'Awwww.'

After that Peach and Daisy sung 'Who run the world?(girls)' with a lot of sass and rythm. Wario kept shouting 'BOOOO!' In the background, secretly giving his song a funeral. But afterwards Luigi hugged Daisy. He thought she had the most beutiful voice ever!

Last of all Luigi dragged Daisy on stage. He sung to her 'Trouble maker.' By Olly mur. This was also quite sassy, he got a cheer from the audience for being brave. Daisy kissed him on the cheek at the end.

Last of all Toadby and Yoshi hummed 'The mario bros themetune.' This made a lot of people laugh, they were actually realy good!

Unfortunatly Birdo and Toadatheen were to nervous to sing, but they were the people clapping and whistling the most.

Finally the night calmed down as fireflys danced across the campsite. The fire was still lit, but it was not as bright as before, the wood turning to ash. Daisy shared a tent with Birdo, Toadatheen and Peach. The wario bros shared a yellow and purple striped tent with Luigi, who had unfortunatly been abducted by them. This was because Mario and Yoshi were best friends who wanted to stay up all night playing truth or dare.

Luigi laid down in the tall grass. The wind blew gently on his face, it was a wonderful night. The moon was now directly above the camp, it reminded him of the huge nightlight he had as a 4 year old kid. He honestly was a bit worried about this trip...he thought Mario would just grab all the attention and just leave him to map read as the others sang. But no! He had been nice and let him join in, for this he was thankful. He felt like he had got closer to Daisy, even if just a bit. He felt like he was safe, his cousins were here, his whole family were here! (Including his bestist friends!) he could never forget them.

"Cousin, you coming in? Me and Wal wanna tell ghost stories. We would like to hear your girly scream!!" He shouted across the sight. Oh no, Luigi heard a small laugh arise from the girls tent, followed by a "shut up guys!" From Daisy.

"Fine, I will be there in a minute Wario!" He shouted back.

Luigi got up, His back clicked. He decided even though he did not want to ceal his doom-filled fate by going in the brothers tent. It was getting cold outside. He headed wearily over. Finally getting inside and feeling a lot warmer, comfortable even.

The boys got changed into their PJ's. Wario had a classic mushroom themed PJ set, it also had tiny hammers patterned all over the torso. Walugi had summer PJ's on. They were purple and had his face on them. He had his own brand? Wow. Luigi just had a gray long sleeved top and red and black checkered Shorts to go with it.

"Soooooo...who wants to tell one first?" Waluigi asked, looking around the tent expectedly. The trio sat in silence. This was painfully akward. Luigi had a grimace on his face, whilst Wario was looking at the ground, whistling and rocking back and forth. He decided to change subject.

"Guys...do you think Daisy likes me...like, likes likes me?" Luigi said lying down and staring at the ceiling.

Waluigi and Wario followed. They were all looking up at the ceiling, right above them they could see the stars glinting through the plastic window on the roof. As if it was their mission to find a wishing star. Which in the mauhroom kigdom is a chance of 1/50.

"Well cousin...we would not exactly be the right people to ask." Waluigi replied. Luigi could not see him but he felt a pang of guilt wash over him. He sensed Waluigi tense up.

"Huh...I think if you guys looked in diffrent places, your bound to find a girl each. There are plenty of fish in the sea!" He smiled to himself. The Wario bros were greatly misunderstood by some people.

"Oh, oh! I knew a girl once..." Wario announced, putting his hand up for some reason. As if he thought they were all in school. Both Luigi and Waluigi spun around curiously, not expecting the voice. "Her name was Betsey! She was wonderful...but things did not work out. She found a new guy...named Fred." He said the last bit in disgust. "FRED I WILL FIND YOU!" He shouted a bit too loud. A far away tent went 'Shhhhhhh!' Wario blushed a little.

Waluigi sympathiesed for his brother. He patted his back, giving him a smile. "Cheer up War, you'll see her again one day!" Wario was touched by this. He had never told anybody that, they were actually being...kind. WIERD he thought. But he would let it go for this once.

Suddenly a wishing star sparkled across the window. This was a MASSIVE coincidence. The trio looked at each other in shock. Then they noded and each closed their eyes.

Luigi wished for the courage to ask Daisy out.

Wario wished to find Betsey, even if they could only be friends.

Waluigi wished for his brother to be happy.

The wishing was complete. They all let out a yawn. It was time for sleep on the uncomfortable roll mats.

"Goodnight Waluigi, goodnight Wario!" Luigi said giving them both a fist bump, as cooly as he could muster.

"Goodnight cousin!" The brothers said in unison, they were twins afterall.

Who knew if there wishes would come true.

Somwhere just outside the camp, somone was staring at the rows of tents, half an hour after the trio had gone to bed.

Those wont be there long. *theythought slyly. Who would be killed first?

The knife blade shone in the dark.
