Tom Riddle, known as, Lord Voldemort was a music man. No one knew of this, of course. He would be considered "weak" for liking such a thing. But, Voldemort would always enjoy a piano played harmony. Even if it was played my a mudblood. Expecially one certain mudblood.
It all started six long months ago. Lord Voldemort disguised himself as his younger self. Only Potter had seen him as a young boy.
Tom Riddle walked down Diagon Alley, glancing at shops here and there, deciding where to go. He finally decided to go into a small pub, The Three Broomsticks.
As he entered, he saw a young girl with frizzy brown hair, sitting apon a smooth black piano bench. Her small pale fingers were placed on the black and white keys, getting ready to play a tune.
Tom decided to take a listen. He sat down in one of the the few booths the ol' pub had. As he did, the girl took a deep breath, let it out, and started playing a melody.
She swayed lightly, back and forth. The girls eyes fluttered closed. Her fingers dancing along the keys. Men and their wives had gathered around. He had to admit, she was very good. But, when she started singing, took his breath away.
"Nevermind, I'll find someone like you. I wish nothing but the best, for you too. Don't forget me, I beg, I remember you said "Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead." Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead."
Tears fell down her soft pink cheeks. Her heart and soul poured into the song. She finished the rest of the song, singing to her heart's content. Her eyes opened and her pale fingers, slowly drug themselves away from the insterment.
The crowd bursted into applause. Even Tom gave a small clap. She was astounding. She was a musical bueaty. And he wanted her. He, Tom Riddle, wanted the musical buety.
Every other Thursday he would listen to her sing and play the piano. Sometimes have a small chat with the bar tender, who told him that her name was Hermione, and played here almost every day.
As time passed by, and Tom grew more and more in love with her and her music. He came about everyday now. Tom would talk to her now. They would have long conversations, about books and what the Ministry of Magic was doing wrong.
Tom fell madly in love with this girl. He wanted her as his own. So he did the one thing he knew how to do best, kidnapped her.
When he had done this, Hermione was more than angry. Expecially when he told her he was Lord Voldemort. She tried to escape, but there was no way out.
He treated the musical bueaty as a guest. He clothed her in divine dresses and fed her well. Ussualy, Tom asked her to sing for him everyday, but she would refuse.
Tom grew frustrated with the woman. So, he let her go. Probably the worst mistake of his life.
As Tom Riddle's power and hatred for mudbloods grew, he never returned to the damn pub. He didn't want to hear the enchantress's music. Her smooth fingers dancing happily on the piano, her warm smile, her laughter. He wanted none of it!
Yes it was true, Tom Riddle was a fan of music, and didn't share this obsession. But he could still her voice playing in his head. "Nevermind, I'll find someone like you." But he never did find someone like her, ever again.
This concludes my small drabble. The song used is Adelle-Someone Like You. I was listening to this song while writing this, which turned into my insperation! I perfer listening to the song while reading. It kind of sets the mood. This fiction is just a small drabble I thought of. But did you like it? Please review and feel free to tell me what you disliked or what I could've done better. It'll help me become a better writer.
Lastly check out my two main stories I've been working on. Pardon Me, but What Year Is It? and Becoming Mrs. Longbottom. Thank you for reading.-Rachael
