'Sherlock, for the sake of my dwindling dignity, if you ever get the choice of truth of dare please choose truth.' John said as he took his place in front of the TV screen. Donavan and Anderson muttered snide insults between each other as they joined the small crowd which had gathered in anticipation. The consulting detective's face was perfectly emotionless.

'It's only a dare, John. And besides, you're not the only person I roped into this.' The lanky man replied, grinning at John's failure to hide the smirk. Next to them, Greg Lestrade and Mycroft Holmes each took their place. The DI fidgeted with the strap of the wii remote, he was never going to live this down. The music started and the room crowded to watch as the characters on the screen flashed up.

It's astounding,
Time is fleeting,
Madness takes it's toll.
But listen closely, not for very much longer,
I've got to keep control

Sherlock and John flawlessly followed each movement, one from natural grace and the other from practise at the particular game (but he would deny it with every bone in his body if anyone ever asked.) Greg and Mycroft weren't as good and, though they somehow managed to get through the first section, they felt like the dare was against them and not the consulting detective. John let out a laugh as his flatmate began to sing along.

Well I remember doing the time warp,
D
rinking those moments when,
The blackness would hit me,
And the void would be calling,
Lets do the time warp again!

Sherlock's smile grew wider as he saw his bothers increasing distress.

'What's wrong, My? I doubt you've had this much exercise in years.' He jibed, earning a flicker of a scowl.

'I thought you knew better to mess with power, dear brother.' He panted, not willing to give in. Thankfully, Mycroft knew the song was past halfway now (don't ask how he knew this), he only had to keep this up for a little longer. A new voice began singing, one he knew wasn't his brother. Confused, a very rare occurrence, he turned to find it was the doctor.

Well I was walking down the street just a having a think,
When a snake of a guy gives me an evil wink,
He shook me up, he took me by surprise,
He had a pick up truck and the devils eye.
He stared at me and I felt a change,
Time meant nothing, never would again.

Sherlock winked at him and they both laughed, sliding back into the chorus with ease. Greg and Mycroft shot each other a wary glance. It seemed that getting the two men drunk and then forcing them to play truth or dare was perhaps not the best of ideas.

Finally, the music stopped and the four men stilled. Well, two of the four men stilled, the other two were rolling around the floor in mirth. The doctor somehow managed to get a grip on himself and he sat up and looked at the shocked, bemused, confused and down right afraid expressions around him. He smiled sweetly and then said,

'So, who's up for round two?'
