She's Everything I'm Not
A/N: I hate BBTerra. I'm writing this however because this is something that happened to me, not the ending though, and I tried to find a pairing that would match it.
It's one-sided BBRae and BBTerra.
Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans.
Terra came back. She always comes back. She came back from her high school remembering everything. She came crawling back to Beast Boy with tears cascading down her cheeks.
"I miss you. I've missed you more than I would miss air in space. Beast Boy, I beg of you to take me back."
The day she came back was the day I realized that I was in love with Beast Boy. I was in love deeper than I ever thought I could go. And that was the day Beast Boy welcomed Terra back with open arms.
He gave me a look as Terra gave him a hug.
The look said, "Don't mess this up for me."
I gave him a nod as I turned my back to him and walked off.
He took her back. He deserves better than her but he took her back anyways. No one has ever wanted me. Now no one ever will. He wants her because she's popular and pretty. She has a bubbly personality. She's kind, despite the things she's done. She's everything I*'m not. She's everything I'll never be.
I don't deserve the chances he gave me. I'm stuck in a miserable solitary.
The only way to end this torture is to end my life.
She's everything I will never be. Now, I am nothing…
The Next Day
People all over Jump City shed tears for the Fallen Titan. It was a Sunday morning and news of the events of last night was swirling around the country.
Saturday night was a normal night until Overload decided to destroy the amusement park. Raven was the first on the scene. Terra joined shortly after, riding on a boulder with Beast Boy.
Raven flew over to Overload and tried to cast a spell to lift him in the air away from the rides. She tried to lift him but he reached out his electric arm and knocked her into the Ferris Wheel. Overload connected his limbs to the metal and shot Raven with more electricity than a lightening bolt.
The Titans were in the living room crying. Terra wasn't crying however.
"She should have known better than to do what she did." Terra remarked when Beast Boy commented on her not crying.
"How could you say such a thing?" Starfire exclaimed before bursting into tears again and crying onto Robin's shoulder. The Boy Wonder himself was also letting a few tears loose. Cyborg's one human eye was watering and one tear dripped down his cheek. His face looked decades older. He was the oldest of the team but his features looked intensified with the amount of stress he was going through. He thought of Raven as a sister.
Beast Boy was crying more than Starfire.
"Beast Boy, you're acting as if you love Raven. Get a grip on yourself." Terra commented.
"I do love her. You just edged her out. She's everything you're not. She listens to me. She cares about me, even if she doesn't show it. Something tells me that she loves me back."
"Check your tense Beast Boy. You loved her. She was everything I'm not. She cared about you, even if she didn't show it. She loved you back. Not anymore. She can't love you if she isn't alive to do so."
"Just shut up." Beast Boy growled. He flew off as far away as he could. He flew to the cave where him and raven got stuck in during a storm.
At that time, Raven had been losing control of her powers so she didn't use them. Beast Boy had had another encounter with The Beast so Cyborg that it would be safer not to transform for a little while. Their lack of powers got them trapped in a cave after a swim.
Beast Boy loved her so much. He still does.
