Dear Kimimaro

On June 15, 2012, Kayuga Kimimaro woke up when the sun shone in his face.
It was his birthday, but like every birthday, he never got anything except Kabuto-butt's bratty attitude and Orochimaru's endless 'I still wish you were my container' rants.
He sighed and pushed himself out of his bed, pulled the covers lazily over his pillows and got dressed.
He was just finishing his hair when he noticed an orange envelope on his bedside table.
Wandering over, he turned it over, but it bore no name except his.
Opening it, he found a folded up letter which read the following, in Juugo's unsightly hand:

Dear Kimimaro,
Hi Kimi. This is Juugo. How are you? Is Kabu-butt still as stupid as ever? Are they treating you well? Kimi, I miss you. I wish you could see me. When are you coming over again? Today? Hopefully. I've been dreaming lately of the times we spent together. I miss those times. Kimi, let's run away. Far away. Let's spend the rest of our lives together, free.
Happy birthday;
Juugo
He finished the letter through a mist of tears.

"I miss you too, Juugo."

Smiling, Kimimaro made a hole in the wall and slipped through.
He'd just made it into the bushes when Kabuto came into his room to give him his medications.
Sighing, he began to run to the hideout where Juugo was kept.
It was about early afternoon when Kimimaru got there.
He passed the guards without any trouble, then unlocked Juugo's cell door.
The fiery-haired young man was sitting dejectedly under the only window in the cell, muttering about killing somebody.

"Juugo."

He looked up, and a smile lit up his face when he saw Kimimaro.
Leaping to his feet, he put his arms tenderly around the silver-haired man.
Kimimaro hugged back.

"Happy birthday, Kimi!"
"Thank you, Juugo."
"I missed you."

Juugo began to sob a bit, and he squeezed Kimimaro even tighter.
Kimimaro patted him, trying to keep him quiet, and sat down.
Finally, Juugo dried his eyes and looked at him.

"Did you finally decide to leave Orochimaru?"
"Yes. With you."

Juugo began to tear up again, and Kimimaro smiled at him.

"Hey, don't cry. It's supposed to be good news."
"I-" –sob– "-I can't help it! I'm so happy!"

Kimimaro laughed and pulled Juugo into a hug.
Looking into his bright orange eyes, he gave Juugo a peck on the cheek and stood up.

"Let's go."
"I love you too, Kimi."

And they lived happily ever after.

A/N: Uh, that was quite weird. :O Hehehehe…. Happy ever after, yay! :} Please R&R, thank you!
