"General Syndulla, please report to the briefing room."

General Hera Syndulla was walking as quickly as she could while holding a fussy baby in her arms, Chopper rolled along beside her making annoyed beeping sounds.

"No, Chop for the last time. I can't 'just put him back in.' It doesn't work that way."

.Zeb and Captain Rex fell into step beside her. "Another mission?" Rex inquired.

"Yes," replied Hera a little breathlessly as she tried to get the crying, wriggling bundle under control, "And I liked both of you to attend the briefing with me. I'll need you on the mission."

"And the little screamer?" Asked Zeb tentatively.

"Staying here. Kallus agreed to watch him, his shift just ended, but…" She stopped, pausing to look around, "I can't seem to find him."

Zeb looked around the main hangar, using his height to his advantage to search for the handsome human.

"There he is!" Exclaimed Zeb, pointing at Kallus, who was following behind a group of rough looking intelligence officers led by Captain Andor. "Kallus!"

Kallus jumped at his name being shouted and looked slightly guilty as he begrudgingly turned off the group and head towards them. Before he could open his mouth Hera had rushed in front of him.

"Kallus, thank god I found you! Here."

She unceremoniously placed Jacen in his arms, turned on her heel and was back to rushing towards the briefing room, Chopper beeping alongside her, before Kallus had a chance to open his mouth to protest. Captain Rex gave him a shrug before turning to follow Hera.

He looked pleadingly at Zeb

Zeb shook his head. "I'm sorry I have to go the meeting too."

Kallus held out Jacen, "I can't, I-"

Zeb interrupted confused, "I thought your shift just ended."

"ZEB!" It was Hera shouting impatiently.

"It did but-" He couldn't tell Zeb about the mission. He knew it was a suicide one.

Zeb looked at him inquiringly. "Why-"

"GARAZEB ORRELIOS!" Hera again. And she'd sent Chopper to zap him.

"OW! Chopper!" He yelled at the droid but quickly turned back to Kallus concerned, "I have to go. I'll be right back. This conversation isn't over. Just stay right there" Zeb ran to join the others, Chopper rolling along behind him.

They left Kallus stranded in the middle of the hangar with a green haired baby to watch forlornly as Cassian Andor's team left without him.
