"Dean what are you doing?" Castiel exclaimed sitting down on the side of the bed "We should be working,"
"Cas I'm watching T.V, relaxing," Dean grumbled, sick and tired of life and it's tribulations, the last thing he wanted right now was a confused Angel in his face.
"But the case!" Cas repeated, not understanding why Dean couldn't see the urgency of his duties.
Dean didn't reply, his new objective was to drown out the insufferable noise of Cas and hopefully he would get the message and leave, but that was asking a lot.
"Dean…?" Castiel tried "Dean the case!"
Still nothing
"Dean you can't just ignore your responsibilities like this! Dean!"
Dean really wanted to argue about this but it would stray from his down time, the little he had left of it anyway. Suddenly the motel T.V gave an unhealthy splutter and turned off with a shower of sparky applause.
"You did not just do that, really? was that necessary!" Dean exclaimed turning to the Angel
"You were not listening to me so I had to take action to change this,"
"No you really didn't," Dean replied frantically pressing the on button on the remote in a vain attempt to get the picture back.
"Dean the case!"
"Cas! It's 3am, Sam is asleep," Dean said gesturing to the snoring heap of brother in the bed across the room "I should be too, will you please let me have a little bit of peace? For once,"
Castiel processed this request slowly, he could tell by Dean's tone that he was really in pain at his actions and he was right in his reasonings.
"Can… Can I watch with you? Or is it one of those things that you're not supposed to watch in a room with other 'dudes',"
Dean chuckled softly despite himself "No you can watch with me if you promise to keep that holy mouth of yours shut,"
"Excuse me?"
"Just be quiet! And please fix the T.V, I don't think the Motel staff will believe me when I tell them an Angel broke it"
"Oh okay, I can do that,"
So that was how Dean and Castiel ended watching T.V for several hours, for once, in perfect silence.
