"The necklace is cursed, I tell you!" declared Tsunade.
"No, it isn't!" retorted Naruto, "believe it!"
He picked up the necklace, which Tsunade had carelessly left lying on the ground for no reason. "See? Nothing-"
With ninja reflexes, he leaped out of the way of the venomous snake that decided to bite him for no reason. It wasn't a magic talking snake, it was just an ordinary snake. With somewhat-less-ninja clumsiness, he tripped and fell down.
An anvil fell on him, smashing him into the ground and showering bits of the floor everywhere.
"Coincidence..." coughed Naruto weakly, pushing the heavy metal object off his chest and struggling to stand up. In the custom of ninjas everywhere, he declared, "My amazing healing allowed me to survive the blow!"
And then a train ran over him. (Are there even trains in Fire Country?)
"I told you so," said Tsunade, looking satisfied, and then, suddenly, horrified. "Oh my god, they killed Naruto!"
