Ginny looked out of the window at the clear blue sky. There was not a cloud to be seen, she thought to herself. From here, she could make out the sand dunes, where dobby had been buried. For the occasion, she had decorated his grave in small white shells, and green lilies. She would never forget that Little house elf, who had saved her soon-to-be husband from death. She still had ten minutes before she would be needed, and with her hair and make-up done, she decided to watch as the guests arrive. Then she saw HIM, sauntering across to the second row. "What on earth is he doing here?!" she muttered to herself, watching as he took a seat next to Ron. She knew she shouldnt have let people bring plus ones. Of course that would be who ron would want to bring. She couldnt blame Harry for coming though. One of his friends had died here, and he had a right to visit. But she couldn't think about him right now. It was her wedding day, and he would not ruin it for her. The guilt was already tearing her apart.
She smoothed the creases out of her dress one last time, before proceeding downstairs to wait for Arthur Weasley to arrive. As she was waiting, she couldn't help but check her appearance again in the mirror. Her auburn curls covered her shoulders and draped down to her belly button. In her hair was a white lily, to match the ones that surrounded the arch, which she was to be married under, and from the flower, a shimmering veil covered the back of her hair. She continued to check her makeup, which had been left as natural as possible, as her mother and friends had advised her that her natural beauty would make her look much more beautiful than coating her face in foundation and what not. And looking at herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but agree. Her dress, which Parvati Patil, her wedding planner, had designed, was perfect. It hugged Ginny at her waist, accenting her curves, and then fell from her waist into elegant drapes all the way down to her toes, and finished in a long train, which her bridesmaids would be carrying. The sweetheart neckline, just like the train had a few ivory lace decorations on it, which stood out prettily against the plain white dress. Ginny had finished by putting on some crystal earrings, which her grandmother had given her before she passed on. If only she could've been here today to see her "little firecracker" get married. Would she approve of Dean? Would she approve of what her little firecracker was doing? There was never going to be anyway to find that out.
She spun around as her father entered the room, only to see his eyes watering, as if he was about to cry. "Don't dad! Then you'll make me cry too and that will ruin my makeup!" her dad gave a little chuckle. "well, it's not every day you see your little girl get married is it? It's funny though. I always thought you would end up with Harry" he gave her a sad smile, which only intensified her guilt, and handed her the bouquet which consisted of white and pale green lilies, the pale green ones having been transfigured to fit in with the colour scheme. "but as long as your happy..." ginny hugged her dad and was happy to see that he didn't pull away immediately, despite her mothers rule of no hugs before the wedding, else the dress get creased. "I am your dad" and with one final kiss on the cheek and a squeeze of the hand, Arthur led his daughter towards the sea edge, where his daughter would marry the man she loved.
