"I'm stopping for pie." Dean told Cas as they pulled into a parking lot of a small diner,

"Ah yes, If there is one thing I will miss about being human, it is eating." Cas said.

"You coming?" Dean asked as he climbed out of the Impala.

"No thank you, I will just stay in here." Cas said.

Dean sat down on a bar stool, and a grouchy looking man wearing a blue, backwards baseball cap, asked what he could get for him.

"May I have the strawberry rhubarb pie, please?" He asked gazing at the menu.

"Sure. If you need anything else just ask." He said, going over to the pie tray and selecting a fresh looking pie.

Dean's mouth began to water as looked longingly at the pie. He glanced down at his menu for a moment, when his gaze caught on something. Strawberry Glazed Angel Food Cake. He remembered Cas saying a while ago that all the food he ate tasted like molecules. But he couldn't help but wonder.

The man brought over the slice of pie he ordered. "Anything else?" He asked.

"Yes, may I have a piece of angel food cake, to go, please?" Dean said.

"Coming right up." He said.

Dean bit into his pie, eyes rolling up into his head. He was expecting it to be good, and he was not disappointed. Bite after bite Dean shoveled into his crater of a mouth, until there was nothing left except crumbs, which he was tempted to lick of. Shortly after that, the waiter brought out the angel food cake in a small cardboard to go box. Dean put some money on the bar and grabbed the cake, nodding his head at the grouchy waiter before leaving.

"Did you enjoy your pie Dean?" Cas asked.

"It was excellent. I brought something for you too." He said, throwing the box onto Cas's lap.

"Thank you Dean, but when I try to eat, it does not taste like it did when I was human." Cas said, almost woefully.

"Just try it." Dean said, revving the Impala's engine.

Cas hesitantly took a bit of the strawberry glazed angel cake. He chewed slowly, and the bite was followed by another and another.

"This is amazing Dean, what is it?" Cas asked, wondering how a human could create something even angels were fond of.

"It's angel food cake, fitting name, right?" Dean asked.

Cas nodded, and ate the last bite if the cake hungrily. He looked at the plate of crumbs, and then asked, "Is there any way we could get more of this?"

Dean chuckled. "Of course."

He took the keys out of the ignition, and they went back into the diner together this time. The only thing on their minds, was pie, and angel food cake.
