Twilight

The musical

Prologue

Sophia was restless on the plane. Sleep would not approach her as she sat in the uncomfortable seat. She unconsciously hummed the theme tune of Twilight the Musical.

Hours of learning the script had imbedded the words deep in her mind.

Sophia first saw the poster outside her local library, featuring Edward and Bella on the front and the words 'TWILIGHT THE MUSICAL' underneath in sparkly, starry letters. She had read the Twilight saga almost a year before, and was still entranced with the vampire romance. She loved to sing, dance and act. She knew that this could be her big break. But she also knew that she was only 17, that she came from a country that American citizens barely knew about and that she had competition with some of Broadway's biggest stars.
