Luna walked along the floor of the Grand Galloping Gala, looking around to see if any pony wanted to talk. "And they shouldn't just want to talk about my princess duties. I wish I could find some pony that wants to talk about me... Like... Like..."

"Luna!"

A pony yelling her name interrupted her thoughts. She shook her head, then looked at where the voice at the had originated.

"Luna! Luna!" a unicorn stallion had been the voice's owner

He was running at top steed at her, and almost ran into her if he hadn't have tried to stop. He stopped right in front of her. He bumped his muzzle to her's as his eyes widened. Luna pushed him away as she looked at him dead in the eye. "What do you want." she said coldly.

The stallion turned his head over to one side "Luna... Don't... Don't you recognize me?"

Luna looked at the stallion from the tip of his mane to the bottom of his hooves. His mane was swepted back, and black as the night sky, his eyes were red, and his coat was a dark gray.

"No..." Luna thought "No, it can't be..."

"S-Sombra?" Luna uttered, her eyes widening

"Yes." Sombra said, nodding his head "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, YES! Luna. Luna, it is me."

"No... It... It can't be." Luna whispered "You. You're alive. You're here." she laughed

She reached out and touched his fur. She laughed slightly. "You are here. I-I can't believe it."

Sombra held her hoof as he looked into her eyes. "I am here. I'm back, and have been looking for you ever since I found out that I lived."

Luna sighed. "You have?"

"Yes, my dear Luna, yes." Sombra said.

Luna's eyes sparkled.

"Do you want to go in the library, like old times?" Sombra asked.

"Yes. Yes, Sombra. Let's go to the library. Like the old times." Luna said. "But no dark magic." she chuckled.

"Yes, yes." Sombra said. "No dark magic."

"Luna?" Celestia's voice rang like a bell in the ball room. "Oh were is that mare?"

She began to search for her sister.

Luna opened the door to the library and she and Sombra entered. Sombra ran his hoof along the books on the selves. He grabbed one of them off of the self. He looked up to show it to Luna when he saw that she had gone out to the tearis, looking out at the sky. He sat down the book and stood next to her, looking at the sky.

"What are you looking at?" he asked as he nudged her.

"My beautiful night sky..." she said

"It is beautiful." Sombra said. "But not nearly as beautiful as the pony who created it."

He took her hoof. She looked at him then smiled.

"LUNA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
