I own nothing!
Mikey hadn't seen Irma in days! They would text each other, but midterms were coming up and Irma would always have to cut the conversation short.
Mikey stared at his phone, reading her last message:
Gotta go Mikey. XOXO
'Man, I wish we could hang out but only for like a few seconds when it's really longer or...wait. I'm confusing myself,' Mikey thought. Irma had known about the turtles for a while now; she and Mikey had grown really close. They'd gone on several dates, but school meant they couldn't spend time together!
'I still can't believe she's my girlfriend,' Mikey thought. 'It's not like I'm super smart and stuff...well except in-Idea!' Mikey ran into Donnie's lab, his brother was watching TV with April. 'Perfect.' Mikey snuck into the lab, surprisingly quiet, and looked for the portal-maker-thing that Donnie had finished, 'Gotta be a better name for that...The Portal Door!' He thought as he ran to Irma's place.
She held her head in her hands, clearly stressed out. He tapped on the window, she jumped up and smiled once she saw Mikey. "Hey," he greeted.
"What's up?"
"I miss seeing you! And you need a break from studying."
"I'd love to hang out, but I have a math midterm tomorrow. I have to study!"
"Don't worry, this'll only take a second." Irma looked at him, confused. "Take this," he said, handing her one of the portable oxygen tanks that Donnie made.
"Where are we going?" she asked as Mikey opened the portal.
"Dimension X."
"What!?"
"Hold on!" Mikey grabbed Irma and jumped through the portal before she could protest.
"Whoa," Irma gasped as she looked at a world of steel and crystal.
"Pretty cool, right?"
"You're telling me...But I don't have time to go exploring some crazy alternate dimension."
"Don't worry, we've got plenty of time."
"But-"
"No, seriously, time moves really fast here. Donnie says it's a tempora difference or something."
"So..."
"We can be here for hours and only like a second will pass back at home."
"So, what do you have in mind?"
"Hold on, I gotta get some bang rocks."
"Some what?"
"Bang rocks, they're like tiny bombs."
"Cool."
"Race you to the third island!"
"Mikey! I can't jump that-" seeing how far Mikey could go she realized she was wrong, "far...No fair! You got a head start!" She figured she might as well have some fun while she was here.
