We don't own these characters, they belong to j. k. Rowling.

A 17 year old Harry Potter lay awake in bed thinking about a red headed boy and a brown haired girl; he missed his friends badly even though he was just home for 3 weeks now. They hadn't even owled him yet, he was beginning to wonder where they were. Maybe they were just busy .... Uncle Vernon barged in the room and yelled "Harry get your lazy ass outside and mow my lawn!" "I am sorry Uncle, but I don't feel that way about you, and I don't think we should do this outside for everyone to see. I am sorry." Harry turned on his side and a smile crept up on his face. "Now Listen boy, I am not going to tolerate your sick humor, you know what I mean so get up and go mow the lawn! NOW!" "Why don't you mow it? Like you said it is YOUR lawn." "Don't make me do something that you will regret!" "Like I said Uncle Vernon I don't see you in that way alright.." "I give up on you, you little shit." Uncle Vernon slammed the door behind him and Harry Laughed to himself. Hedwig Flew through the window and on to her cage, she had a letter attached to her leg. "What do you have there girl?" Harry untied the letter from her leg and read the address, it was from Hermione, he smiled, she was probably trying to see if he had finished his homework yet, and yell at him if he hadn't. He opened her letter and read:
Harry,

I am going to a concert of the weird sisters, and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with us? I'm inviting Ron too- owl me back if you want to come but if you don't want to owl me back anyways.

Love,
Hermione

Harry was in shock that she didn't even mention homework, she wasn't herself. Harry had herd of the weird sisters, Dudley would turn them up really loud in his room and do absurd dances to them, and it was very obscene and disturbing. Harry picked up a quill and parchment to write Hermione back.

Hermione,

Of coarse I will go! Anything to get out of this dump, and the 'Mow my lawn now or I will kick your ass' people. When is it? When will you pick me up? I don't think I can get there on my own, unless Ron takes me. Oh and I have been doing some of my homework, in case you were wondering.

Love,

Harry
