The streets of London were abandoned, the gas streetlamps giving off a weak glow. It was late, but the girl wandering the streets had her mind set. She pulled her black petticoat around her petite body a bit more, wandering off the main street and into an alleyway, an icy gaze searching in the shadows for him. It was far too quiet, except for the "click" of her heels hitting the ground and the soft "snip" of what sounded like scissors snipping. "This is growing rather tiresome, don't you think?" The girl called out in a soft voice. "I know you're here. The Undertaker said you would be."
"Well, someone likes to ruin all the fun!" A feminine voice piped, and soon a tall, dark figure stepped out from the darkness. "You must be the young darling I was told to meet." The figure stepped closer, now revealing a tall man- though, a girlish looking one at that- with long, blood red hair. He wore an open coat- that's color matched his magnificent mane- so it showed his white dress shirt and vest underneath.
"Oh, I'm no darling." The girl replied in a sickly sweet voice. She held out her hand towards him. "You must be Grelle Sutcliff, the Grimm Reaper who wields little kiddy scissors, right?"
The Reaper stiffened up, pouting. "Oh, boo. William took my beloved scythe away from me again! The poor thing must be terrified without its mummy."
The girl dropped her hand. "That's horrible." She wiped invisible dirt from her dress. "So, will you be able to help me?"
Grelle flashed her a smile, revealing his sharp teeth. "It depends, darling." He sliced the air with one of his scissors. "They don't just let anyone become a Reaper, you know. We're pretty exclusive."
The girl closed her eyes and swept her blonde curls behind her shoulder. She smiled softly. "Oh, I'm sure you won't be able to refuse me," She took a step closer to the Reaper, not afraid, "You see, I don't simply want revenge on anyone. Oh dear, that's far too silly of a reason!" The girl giggled. "You see, my parents were killed and it wasn't even their time! How horrible is that!? I just simply wish to help clean these streets of their filth as payback, you see? That's all."
The Reaper looked amused, his yellow eyes glistening. "That story is so heartbreaking. You've gained my interest!"
Grelle walked close to the blonde lady and blew a kiss into the air. "We're just going to be the best of friends- I know it!" He finally made the first move and held his hand. "You're sure you want to go through with this? You know you'll lose those pretty blue eyes of yours." He question sounded considerate, though his mischievous smile was still plastered to his face.
She placed her gloved hand in his and shook down. "Nothing could change my mind."
His smile grew; the light in his eyes growing brighter. "Perfect~! Arabella Montrose, you're going to become a Grim Reaper's apprentice!"

And I understand it's Grell and not Grelle (Well, it's Grelle in the manga) but I like Grelle better. Plus, I could totally picture Grelle writing his name in girly cursive and with little hearts and everything.
