Sebastian stared at the task at hand. For normal butlers this would be a tedious task, but Sebastian wasn't just a butler. He was a demon and a butler so this wasn't going to take long. He smiled and started to get to work on the dessert his young master was craving. A Chocolate Lava Cake. He started to go through the steps while he worked until a sound interrupted him. He sighed and put down his bowl, going into the laundry room. The lamentable event he found didn't surprise him one bit. May-Rin, the clumsy maid whose cracked glasses did nothing to improve her horrid balance, was buried under a mountain of soap.
"MR. SEBASTIAN!" she yelled, her arm sticking out. Sebastian took a hold of her hand and pulled her out. She fixed her glasses. "I don't know what happened! I put in two cups like it said!" Sebastian plopped the box out of her hands and read it. "May-Rin…it says two tablespoons…" She gasped and reread it.
After taking care of that mess, Sebastian went back to the kitchen. "Step 4…" He started to work again and it wasn't long until the second part of a three part series distracted him.
BOOM!
Sebastian gasped and groaned, heading for a main kitchen. As expected he found Bradroy, or Brad as the 'cook' preferred, behind sacks of flour. Sebastian glanced at what looked like a bomb. Upon further inspection he realized that it was a loathsome roast that Brad had taken a flamethrower to. Well, cooking was an art that required explosives. Sebastian sighed and turned. He saw no point in dealing with that at the moment. He'd just wait until later.
The demon butler didn't make it to the other kitchen before Finny, the gardener ran to him. His wrath quickly began to rise until the young man said, "Mr. Sebastian! I'm done and I didn't screw up!" Sebastian blinked, actually shocked. "Really?" he asked. Before speaking Finny drug him to the garden. "SEE?" The butler looked around and smiled. "Nicely done, Finny. I may have to tell the young master about this." Finny grinned happily and went into the rose garden.
Sebastian smiled softly and went back into his kitchen. This time he was not ready for what happened. Desolate clouds formed around his head as he watched the young master, Earl Ciel Phantomhivem, eating the batter of the lava cake. "Young Master…" Sebastian sighed in disbelief.
This was just another normal day in the Phantomhive mansion.
