Right

...

Her mind was in a haze. One minute, she was at a party in the guild, drinking and having fun. The next, she was pushed up against a wall, pinned against it by none other than Gray Fullbuster. Normally, she would be ecstatic, probably drooling over him. But there was something different. Sure, his muscular form was cold like she expected it, and he smelled faintly of a beer, but there was something... off. Like he had something on his mind.

"You know I don't like you that way, right?" His question sounded more like a statement. He suddenly had the urge to ask her that, out of the blue. He was aware that, because of the faint silver glow the moon emitted, her cobalt lashes looked like they were making direct contact with her cheekbones. He was also aware that her hot breath was on his throat - was it wrong of him to find that enticing?

Truth be told, he wasn't exactly sure why he asked her. He wasn't even sure if what he said was true. He wasn't sure if he really didn't like her that way.

"Juvia doesn't care if you don't like her back," she said, a silent determination in her tone. "She doesn't mind at all." Her cerulean orbs were defiant. "Juvia is perfectly fine with Gray-sama not liking her. Gray-sama showed Juvia the sun and really, truly showed concern for her. Gray-sama made her feel loved. And back then, love... it was foreign to her." Her gaze was now fixed on the floor, so Gray had a perfect view of her wavy hair. Her voice so much sincerity and it made it harder to breath for him.

This girl, he thought, wide-eyed, was different. Her gaze was still trained on to the concrete, her hands frantically gripping her uncharacteristically short dress by the hem. She was hyper aware of his denim pants rubbing against her bare thighs (yes her dress was that short).

His eyes carefully examined her. Every patch of skin, clothed or bare. He realized that they were close. Too close. He liked it. (His mind warred with his heart.)

He summed up the courage to place his hand gently on her chin, and tilt her face up (giving him a nice view of her pretty eyes, cute button nose, plump (kissable) lips, and unblemished porcelain skin). He realized then - with her words, her tone, and her heart-felt emotions, and her pretty, pretty face - that he had lied. Perhaps he did like her that way.

He surprised even himself with his next move.

He placed his lips on hers in an unbelievably soft kiss. (His face was a deep red when he pulled away.)

"B-but... Juvia thought you didn't like her that way, Gray-sama?" Her eyes gave away her confusion. He pressed his forehead on hers and placed a gentle kiss on the tip of her nose.

"Maybe I lied." She giggled and he couldn't help but laugh with her. He placed another kiss on her lips, but this time it was more passionate. Their tongues danced and he just felt so... It felt right.
