There is a tale, one from long ago A story of two people One wrapped in grief and sadness The other shrouded in anger and suffering They fought for a long time

This fox filled with sorrow He sought vengeance with the demon who caused his pain And that wolf filled with rage Took to the demons to lash out and scream

The fox and the wolf clashed Each time, it was something to behold A dance of red and blue Oh, the colors were a hurricane of emotion But they never hated each other

The fox was so alone, even among friends And the wolf was alone among his enemies Two sides of a coin, they were Yin and yang

There was one time When the fox was so engulfed by his quest And the wolf was lower than he had ever been They met on a dusty plain On a planet at the edge of the stars

And they fought one final time The fox saw an obstacle to the demons he wanted to end The wolf saw a front to quell his rage But little did they know Fighting was not the answer to their troubles

The very universe quaked and shook It wasn't an elegant dance like before It was jagged, tilted, unbalanced Red and blue tsunamis crashed against each other And they made such beautiful purple waves

Sorrow was stronger than rage And the wolf fell from the sky The fox didn't look back He went to slay his demons But only then would he regret inaction

And the fox slayed his demon His vengeance quelled and soul at peace But there was something missing A hole in his heart not filled

The wolf lost his anger Flames died into embers And he too was empty Rage burned a hole in his chest

It wasn't until years later that these two met once again They were both empty and lost No longer did they clash If they did, nothing anywhere would survive

Animosity was a long forgotten nightmare The fox and the wolf were crying They wanted to move on And in each other, they found something whole

All was well The broken pieces were stitched together The fox's soul was purple now And so was the wolf's

It was far beyond that universe Where they found their minds

Joy replaced sorrow Joy replaced rage And it could be still If just for a moment
