Ordinary Day

Just a day,

Just an ordinary day.

Just trying to get by.

Just a boy,

Just an ordinary boy.

But he was looking to the sky.

And as he asked if I would come along

I started to realize

That everyday he finds

Just what he's looking for,

Like a shooting star he shines.

We both lay on the lightly dewing grass. We both stared to the sky, watching for falling stars. The boy had a strange urge to take the girl into his arms and kiss her until the world stopped. Yet, instead he stands up and says

He said take my hand,

Live while you can

Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand

The run and chase each other around the open hills of grass. Until the boy catches the girl by the waist, spins her around and pulls her in for that passionate kiss. But instead says a couple of dumbstruck words and lets go of his true love. Watching her fall to the light ground only to watch the stars twinkle.

And as he spoke, he spoke ordinary words

Although they did not feel

For I felt what I had not felt before

And you'd swear those words could heal.

And as I looked up into those eyes

His vision borrows mine.

And I know he's no stranger,

For I feel I've held him for all of time.

Then again, the boy felt a notion overcome him. As he turned and spoke so difficultly, the thoughts came so easily. Yet his tongue tied, and I felt a pair of eyes looking up into his. So he said instead:

And he said take my hand,

Live while you can

Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand

In the palm of your hand.

Please come with me,

See what I see.

Touch the stars for time will not flee.

Time will not flee.

Can you see?

The girl felt a flutter in her heart as she looked upon his dark brown eyes. She felt her head lean upwards in need of his lips touching hers. Yet, as she started the passionate kiss her eyes fluttered open.

Just a dream, just an ordinary dream.

As I wake in bed

And the boy, that ordinary boy

Or was it all in my head?

Did he asked if I would come along

It all seemed so real.

But as I looked to the door,

I saw that boy standing there with a deal.

The girl had just had a dream of her dream guy. She thought how real his touch seemed and his lips looked. Then she looked to the open door to find him standing there. Leaning against the wall of her room, staring contently at her, and playing a cute smirk at the edge of his pleasant lips.

And he said take my hand,

Live while you can,

Don't you see all your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand

In the palm of your hand,

In the palm of your hand.

Just a day, just an ordinary day

Just trying to get by.

Just a boy,

Just an ordinary boy.

But he was looking to the sky.

Just then he took her by the waist and lifted her towards him. Just until she was inches away from his lips. He leaned forward into her and pressed his lips into her sweet smile. They kissed for what seemed like an eternity. Until they had to come for air. Then both smiled to each other. As the girl leaned in close to his ear and whispered, " I love you Joe."

And the boy replied, " I love you, too. Lilly."

And hand in hand they walked down the hallway to find a tasty breakfast.

I HOPE U ENJOYED THIS ONESHOT!
