I Will Not Ask Sanada How Many Arms He Really Has

"Sanada-san, want to play a match?" Rikkaidai's demon asked, feeling bored.

The fukubuchou glared at him. "After you give me 30 laps."

"30?!"

Sanada's glare became sharper. "Want to make it 50?"

Akaya smirked. "Ha! I can do that in ten minutes."

"50 laps. NOW. If you're not back in ten minutes, you won't be a worthy opponent."

With that, Akaya ran with demon-like speed. Unbelievably, nine minutes and forty-five seconds later, he returned.

Sanada, feeling impressed, led him to the courts.

"Ne, Sanada-san, how many arms do you really have?" Akaya asked as he did some stretching.

"…What?"

"I mean, when you do your invisible swing, it seems like you have six, or even eight arms!"

Sanada picked up his racket. "How many arms do you see now?"

"Two," Akaya bluntly replied.

"THEN, I HAVE TWO ARMS. No more, no less."

"But… but… but… How. Can. That. Be?!"

"Do you really want me to prove it to you?" Sanada asked, feeling annoyed.

"Yeah!"

The fukubuchou turned calm. "Then, let's start the match."

It was all-out from the beginning. Sanada did his invisible swing.

"See?! YOU HAVE SIX ARMS!! How do you do that??"

"You're being awfully curious today, Akaya."

"It's all because of your arms!!"

"I ONLY HAVE TWO ARMS. Deal with it."

Game and Match. Sanada wins. They went back to the clubroom.

Marui handed Akaya a drink.

"Ne, Marui-senpai, how many arms does Sanada-san REALLY have?"

"I heard that!" Sanada's voice came from the showers. "Marui, Akaya… 30 LAPS AROUND THE COURT!" he shouted.

"What?! Why am I included??" the tensai asked as he chewed on a piece of gum.

Akaya remained silent.

"This is all your fault," Marui said, pointing at the said boy.

"…"

"You shouldn't have asked how many arms Sanada-san has."

The demon stayed unusually quiet.

"YOU OWE ME."

The End
