---------All In A Glance---------

Remus kept his eyes trained on his supper, pointedly ignoring Sirius' mindless chatter, the annoying itch on his little toe, and the twinkling blue eyes boring into the top of his head. Determinedly, he took another bite of beef.

Despite his refusal to meet the twinkling gaze, it was never very far from his thoughts.

He feared it. The intensity, the ageless wisdom, and the endless things it might mean. He feared and anticipated it.

Whenever those timeless eyes rested on him, a thrill of exhilaration that was unparalleled raced through his veins. It consumed him completely and left him breathless in its wake.

Suddenly, the gaze changed. Remus could feel the transition from playful to serious and glanced up quickly.

Ochre eyes clashed with sparkling blue as serious once again gave way to good natured. Remus narrowed his eyes in slight irritation; the old man was having him on. The only response he received was an arched white eyebrow asking an unspoken question. The werewolf nodded unnecessarily and returned his attention to his dinner, filing away the silent promise of a twinkling blue gaze.
