She thought it'd be an uneventful diner. Boy, was she wrong. Dinner with the president and his wife was never boring, but they'd done it quite a few times and the novelty of being in the White House had wore off.

This time, though, they took the twins with them. She should've known that would ruin a peaceful meal. Julia had befriended the president's oldest daughter, Brianna, at school, and the two were quite the rambunctious pair. Roan, well, Roan alone already counted for two, as he'd clearly gotten his father's character. Tony loved it when they caused trouble, as long as they didn't hurt anyone, he'd even help them with their pranks. She basically had three children, she thought sometimes, Tony being even harder to handle than the twins when he was up to mischief.

Alright, back to the diner. Dining along with them was the British Ambassador and his wife. She'd already met Winston a couple of times, and he'd told her about his wife Emily and their sons, but she hasn't expected him bringing his youngest son James with them. The boy, with a mass of brown curls and a mischievous twinkle in his green eyes, had immediately taken a liking to Roan.

The first few hours the children kept themselves occupied, but eventually they got bored. And bored nine year olds are.. Not a good idea. They started with throwing peas at each other. It ended with a lot of pudding in the face of America's Most Powerful Man.

Needless to say, the kids were staying home next time. And maybe they should not send them all to the same school, too. She already felt sorry for the teachers.
