A/N

Alright so the Long night to 280AC is over about 267 generations a generation consisting 30 years. According to on a forum Westeros has roughly 75 million people. The forum does go on to say it should be lower since king's landing has only half a million people but lets just give them the benefit of the doubt since I really need a big number here. According to my college human Geography classes, the bell curve consisting of the human population doesn't really explode until the industrial revolution. Looking at some charts all over google, the population doubles by the start and end of the Medieval period 476 AD – 1492 according to wikipedia. With the help of a calculator dividing the Westerosi pop in half for every rough 1,000 years. You wind up with 292,968.75. This could be believable with the majority of humanity over in Essos or you can be of my opinion and think there should be a few more hundreds of thousands.

With 292,968 people you could possibly win the long night, my reasoning being Children of the Forest, dragon glass and assuming the First Men were a little more united plus a decreased amount of Wrights resulting in the same rough odds. With all these numbers whats the point you may ask, Chapter 34 of a Dance with Dragons "Only one in a thousand is born a skinchanger and only one skinchanger in a thousand is born a greenseer." dope cool story now using the same forum that says the North has 15 million people we'll do some quick math. 15,000,000 people of Westeros/1,000 Warg gene= 15,000 Wargs. 15,000 Wargs/1,000= 15 Green seers. Now lets say due to infant mortality only one in ten survive as I believe survival to your majority in Game of Thrones have those odds for argument's sake. There would be 1,500 Wargs and 1.5 Greenseers during the start of Game of Thrones since so many people die during the ensuring wars which would probably reduce it by a solid million.

Bloodraven was stuck in a tree so half a greenseer. 1,500 Wargs with the model of the Stark family we'll assume many Wargs don't realize they are Wargs and instead have odd dreams. Back to the Generations with 267 generations with a rough output of lets say one in four generations producing a greenseer we get 66.5 greenseers. The point of all of this is to show there's more Greenseers. I know there's leaps in logic as I should be instead calculating how many people are born per generation but a lot of this is estimation and I feel like the logic is firm enough for you as the reader to agree there should at least be a dozen aware Greenseers throughout Westeros history between the long night and present day Westeros. With that in mind I realize what if the Game of Thrones isn't between kings but Greenseers trying to plan for the final battle with a chessboard with a dozen other players all so far out of touch with one another they only know there's other players as they pieces with the price being the Doom of Valaria and etc. If that was true lets say BloodRaven was able to win this game and have control over all time and space by the time Bran find him. Wouldn't it be natural for a sore loser to take one last move to give a final wrench into BloodRaven's plan?

This is the basis of fic yay or nay any thoughts hopefully a chapter will be out in a few months or maybe someone would like to take this as a challenge. I just wanted to throw this out there and share my thoughts as I'm unaware if anyone else has considered this.

-Challenge Ideas

-Your traditional new player of SI with the power of a Greenseer

-I personally intended to bring in a whole new faction through a Greenseer sending a vision to XYZ

-Maybe a mentor figure of XYZ through visions or a ghost for lets say Jon Snow using his insight to blackmail Jon Snow into performing actions such as joining Robb as a general or making Ned Stark change sides during Robert's Rebellion

-A Story about warging into a dragon and I don't know saving the dragon race by hiding on an island

-Same as above but warging into various bodies to see the world that JRR Martin keeps hinting about eg. Cannibal Bay the Summer Islands and etc.

-You could have a SI that wargs into famous figures in history to try and guide history before the final battle

-Finally, its great for a crossover. Using the second idea what if this unnamed greenseer sends a final message to Eragon to travel over the seas to Westeros. Guide a ship of Nords to Westeros. Maybe sends a message to a ship under the command of the God Emperor to purge the planet of Chaos.

The point is Greenseers aren't rare if time isn't meaningful to them. Because, if they can just go to the past and future and place effects on it why wouldn't Blood Raven send thugs to someone's house to kill a potential rival and etc. I know greenseers typically don't have this power like they show Bran having, but this is Fanfiction the point is to break a rule here or there to create a story that traps the reader in a new retelling of a beautiful tale or that's what I think.

Best,
