Disclaimer-I don't own Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling does. I wish I did. But I never will so I will stick to writing on fanfic.net and for my middle school magazine.
Thank you to the 3 nice people who decided to review my first fanfiction, Goodbye to you
Starting Over
Bill Weasley stared impassively at the Egyptian pyramid before him. He had
spent the last seven years of his life working in there, breaking curses and bringing back
treasure . His day-to-day activities seem exciting and dangerous when he had started, but
they quickly became boring. The ancient Egyptian wizards did not seem to know very
many charms and curses, because the tombs all had the same, easily broken, spell.
He thought that his life was never going to change until that one fateful day when while
reading the Daily Prophet, his eyes wandered across an advertisement for a job opening
as the Defense Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Seeing it as the perfect opportunity to begin a new career, he immediately sent an owl to
Headmaster Dumbledor. He got the job without breaking a sweat, mostly due to the fact
that many wizards thought that the position was cursed. Now he was off to start a new
job, with the hope that he would break the tradition and stay more than a year. Little did
he know, there was another new teacher at Hogwarts.
